O.K. so we got DS one of those blue pools with the blow-up rings on the top. Well, we worked hard to get the area level. Put a lot of sand on the down slope from the house to bring it up. Got the pool up, but found it now tilted to the south towards the patio. Figured it wasn't too bad, so we just left it. It kept looking like it was getting worse each time I looked at it while cutting the grass. Suz said to stop complaining and that I mention it all the time.

Well, I got up this morning and didn't notice it but when Suz did, she wondered what all the rock was out on the patio. At first I thought there was an animal that was digging out there, but then we seen a lot of rock all over the place.

Well, you guessed it, last night the wall finally gave way and almost all 3,000 gallons ran out. :scared1:

We were going to empty it next weekend anyways since we didn't want it up while we were gone and it would be too cold once we got back to use. So, that just saved me a long time trying to drain it.

Felt bad for DS, but when he got up he wasn't upset. To top it off, he got to go with Suz' best friends son to his grandparents' inground pool at their house. He had a blast. Going back there tomorrow. :thumbsup2

Just had to share that. It would have been cool to be sitting on the patio and have that rush out. Good thing it happened over night and not when DS was in it (which he would have been today and/or tomorrow. Tomorrow would have been with Suz' friends kids and I know they would have been jumping around and it would have went.

I've seen something like that on America's funniest home videos. You could have won 10,000 dollars.:rotfl:

Definitely been doing that. The redness is going away a little and so far I have counted 12 stings.:scared1: But he seems to be feeling lots better.:thumbsup2 Thanks for the suggestions.

Did either work for you?

Did you use one on 6 of them and the other on the other 6? You could have done a case study for us.

Morning all....

HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY:flower3:

Night Andy. Seems early for you.

Well, I had been up since 2:30 yesterday morning with only getting in a 45 minute nap all day. I mananged to force myself to stay up until 10pm last night and slept in until 5:30 this morning.........:lmao:

Sorry to hear about the pool Jeff. I was talking with one of the residents here in town the other day. It appears the same storm that fried Lina's computer last week sent a bolt of lightning to his pool. The man said he heard a loud boom, looked out his window and the pool walls were laying on the ground and the yard was flooded.

All caught up for now, time to get ready to head on over to Riverwinds, see y'all later.......have a great Sunday!!! :wave2:

Good morning everyone!
I'm TIRED!

Have to bake a cake for EB's birthday today. Just wrapped his presents.

We went to a Japanese restaurant last night and they sang to him. It was so much fun. The hibachi chef squirted saki in EB's mouth and then did the same thing to Amelia but with water! She would not stop giggling. Then the chef was trying to toss food into everyone's mouth -- even Amelia. Everyone had a blast! Ernie was clapping and yelling! Oh boy...I'll have to post pictures.

The last I heard, the first of the new ships is supposed to be ready by February 2011(subject to change).

October 2011 on the Disney Dream(s)........:confused3 :rolleyes1
I'd love to be on one of the new ships. I almost don't care WHEN it sales...but I actually do care where it sales. With kids as young as I have, I don't have interest in the Med or anything outstanding like that.

Does anyone have any bee sting remedies? Harrison and his uncle and cousin got into a yellow jacket nest a little bit ago and he is miserable. Harrison got about 10 stings and his uncle got 5 and cousin 2. Any ideas?
:scared:
Hope they're feeling better.

Becky, start packing yet?

I haven't. We have a few things on the guest bed and the suitcases are in the room, but nothing major yet. I'm thinking it will be done next weekend.

We're at 12 Days right now (almost 11). :cool1:

Were you flying down to LA, driving, or getting a ride? I can't remember?
:goodvibesYou guys are so lucky! I'm so excited for you! :woohoo:

I just wanted to check on something. Megan wanted to find out if anyone has kids that will be 11 or 12 on the cruise. I see some people with kids with unlisted ages. Megan wants to get on to the Kid Kruisers site but knows that they are older (and already know each other.) I'm sure she will meet someone on the cruise her age. But, she sees how much fun we have talking on here and wants to play too!:)
Our kids are much younger...they'll be only 2 and 4.

London Broil and fresh picked Silver Queen Corn on the Cob for dinner tonight folks, yum! yum! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
As a vegetarian, london broil is ONE of the things I kinda miss. :eek:Although, if it came down to it I don't think I could actually followthrough and eat it. I ALMOST ate tuna while pregant with Ernie but when it actually was in front of me I couldn't do it!!! :scared:

The steak on the hibachi looked really yummy last night, too! :rotfl2:

Well the way we've been doing this, the next one would be planned for 2011. We did 2007 and are doing 2009.

Mark your calendars kids, we're planning a reunion cruise for 2011. Feels strange since this one is still over 14 months away.
I would love to do the 2011, but I think we really want to do the Christmas Cruise in 2010 and we've also been doing an every other year pattern. So perhaps the new ship in 2012 will be the one we set our sights on.

Hmmm...eating a Zone bar. Kinda too sugary for me. Why do they go and ruin those things like that?!

What a GORGEOUS :lovestruc picture!
