Our weatherman lied to us. It was supposed to less humid today, guess what, today was the worse day of the week as far as I am concerned.

My brother Pete just stopped by the house to say good-bye, he is heading back to Florida tomorrow morning around 3am. Not sure if this is a good idea, but it's his life, I just hope he made the right decision.

Quick question.........

what advice would you give to a first time DCL cruiser? He is traveling with his wife and 2 boys ages 5 and 2. It's a coworker and I've been giving him advice but would like to hear other ideas.

Don't sweat the small stuff. Things will go wrong, they always do, just take it all in stride and have a magical time.

I spy, with my good eye, my PALO date!! Isn't he handsome??? Who's the hot chick he's with??

Watch out for the door handles at Topsiders with the two year old. It hits about eye/eyebrow level!!!

Also, get signed up for what you want to do as early as possible: Palo's, etc.

Enjoy each day as it comes but plan a few key things that everyone really wants to do. For example, DH did the submarine ride and DD swam with dolphins. Both were highlights for each.

Don't underestimate Castaway Cay. It is as wonderful as all the hype!

It went well. Everythings was priced to GO so we didn't make tons of $$$ but I'm satisfied. I found some more stuff to add tomorrow. We definitely won't have three loads to bring home!

Hi all. Just a quick hello before having to get ready for the wedding. Rehearsal last night......Jumbo fried shrimp for the rehearsal dinner, Walt! I couldn't get a pic, but you know how they look, all golden with a wonderfully crisp coating. Many toasts were made to the happy couple...very touching. Derek and I both had tears.

I will take pics of my boy in his tux before the wedding and post when I get home next week.

I hope everyone is doing well. I haven't read back but I have skimmed to see photos--great pics, Lori! Except the one of me and Sean talking at the table looks like I am reading him the riot act (I think I was on my soapbox about line cutting at WDW.) Sean and Cath look scared of me.

Y'all have a great weekend--Nancy and Mel, tell Sam and Sonya hi for me. I will be seeing Bud tonight I think.

Paige love someone was daft enough or should that be brave enough to line cut YOU?

Just arrived home from my Saturday morning workout and said good-bye to 825 calories!!!!! Time to get a nice shower and put on some dry clothes......

Hiya!

Busy week here in Stinktown ... and now STL summer has returned in force, the air is so thick and humid you really could cut it with a knife.

Forecast highs over the next four days are 95-100 with heat indexes ranging from 105-110. Blech!

Last night we attended a trivia night fundraiser ... even though it was sponsored by a local high school the questions were predominantly popular culture. We blew chunks on the category that was nothing but name that WWF wrestling "star."

I asked Jay later whatever happened to categories like history, literature, movies, science, etc ... and he said, "you're obviously a freak expecting questions that require actual thought ..."

And even with free beer I didn't drink anything but iced tea ... when it gets this hot I don't like to drink skunky beer, especially after being up since 5AM in the morning.

Now, tonight .... we have another cheese tasting class at Whole Foods and then we're going to have dinner at the Melting Pot. Yummmmm! I will definitely enjoy a drink or two tonight.

Well, she doesn't go with me on the weekends and she missed several days this week because of going to the Jersey Shore with one of her friend's family. But, when she is with me, she does quite well spending 40 minutes on the elliptical machine, then spends time on the mat doing stretching exercises. Lina has lost a few pounds, but I'm not allowed to look at the scale when she is on it........

As long as it's going in the right direction.
