Wicked, wicked storms through our area most of the late morning. The backup power supply kicked in as we lost electric at church this morning. Another bad storm is approaching as I type. At least it is nice and cool outside!!!

Questions though...
1) Was that Ellis' teacher in the white blouse with him?
2) Did you travel to Greece with friends or did Ellis meet those other children on vacation?
3) Really? Over 100 laps a day? That certainly makes you "Bikini Worthy".

1. It was his classroom assistant
2. Travelled on our own - met them there
3. Yep! - at least 100 each day. I'd do about 50 first thing then the rest in bursts of 20 lengths depending on how quiet the pool was.

Bikini worthy - NOT! I did wear one, but there are no photos I'll be displaying

For someone who didn't feel motivated this morning, I kicked some major bootie this morning at Riverwinds. It was my best workout to date burning off 875 calories and doing 100 tummy crunches, and I feel GREAT!!!!!

Been gardening for 2 hours this afternoon. The passionflowers had overgrown while we were away, so I had to tie the new growth in - its almost covered the back fence now - not bad for a less than a year lots of rain has helped though - its looking lovely now

Yikes we have been having problems with our computer and Best Buy told Al to try reloading windows. He is still trying to get everything back up and running but now I can't multi-quote or get the smiles to work on here, it's very frustrating

Once we did hit the park, The kids made a bee line for the merry-go-round. Amazes me at how much they like this. I've never liked them much. But Leah could spend all day on one.

Every morning I got up early and swam lengths - most days I did over 100, my record was 165 lengths in one day

It was lovely having the pool to myself. After my swim I would go back upstairs and have my slimfast milkshake

Wow 165 lengths!!!! You are an inspiration! That explains why you didn't gain any weight on you vacation. That is awesome!

Good morning everyone!
Another busy day here today.

Went to a local amusement park yesterday with the kids. Then to dinner in the evening with my family. My brother leaves to head back to Iraq tomorrow. He and his wife are coming for breakfast this morning. I'll have to get cooking soon.

This afternoon I'm meeting an old coworker for lunch and a movie. In addition, I've been doing some independent contract working designing a book and the photo scanning is taking me FOREVER!!!!

We'll keep your brother in our prayers that he stays safe!
