Hi Jules! I'm playing catch up on reading the thread today. Welcome to the cruise. My husband Matthew (EPCOT_VA) started her in May/June after our last cruise. He got on just to see if anyone had started a thread yet! Well, of course it was: in DECEMBER!!

Many of these wonderful people have cruised together previously. They like to chat... a lot!:) But then, so do I...so I fit right in!

Matthew and I will be sailing with our 2 daughters Megan and Sarah who will celebrate their birthday on board...turning 12 and 10)

When I first found the KK1 thread for the October 2007 cruise and started chatting with everyone, I was 19 weeks pregnant!!! Kira is almost 2 now!!! :goodvibes

I wonder if I will be posting graduation photos of her on the KK 8 thread :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Good luck Amelia!!!!!!! :cool1: :teacher:
I'm leaving in about 5 minutes to go pick her up. I cannot wait to see what she thought!

You should see what she does to Goofy :lmao: She sits on him, rides him...pulls his whiskers LOL! He had a hard time adjusting at first but now he's SO good to her!! He just lays there and takes it  She just LOVES him!!! For awhile there she couldn't say Goof, so every morning she came downstairs and yelled HI GOOSE!!!!! :rotfl2: It's going to be hard when he's gone...he is 10 years old today!!
:rotfl: Thanksfully Goofy takes it like a champ!!! :scared1:

Hmmm, only if you post more of your two babes :lovestruc
I will have to....:cutie:

Mel, since you've been there so many times, you probably know the proper way of driving to the parks from SSR. For the first couple of days, we just followed the signs but then realized that is was taking us the LONG way around. Finally we got smart and took a left out of the resort instead of a right! Saved us a good 10 minutes every morning!! :thumbsup2
We fumble around for the first couple of days and then it all starts coming back to us. It really is much more convenient and faster (most of the time).
I cannot believe we're about 2 weeks out from our next trip!!! I still have to get our party costumes together!!!

I'm looking forward to reading your trippie!! :goodvibes I can't wait to see how Amelia and Ernie handle those sit down meals :rolleyes1

I was just looking at the BOBer Who's Going page....we seem to be missing quite a few BOBers ::yes:: And there's a few gaps too :rolleyes1

Send me those pics and info BOBers!! :thumbsup2

When we went in May, we got the red bag, the water bottles, and the fishnet bag. I don't remember the writing tablet or a pencil bag though. Are the gifts different depending on the length of cruise?

Matthew

Hmm... and he is supposed to have the "good" memory!

Yes, we received the table and pen. But, the stencil and pencils are new.

Question for our BOBers who just cruised....

How was the food?????

Has it improved any? Or still the same???

Andy, don't even THINK about telling me how good that chocolate peanut butter pie was !!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

Just claiming my FO :rolleyes1

Found this pic from CC....I wish I could visit on a day like this!!! :lovestruc :cloud9:

We had a rather wicked storm move into our area as I was BUSY reading curb meters this morning. The storm wasn't supposed to get here until this afternoon, but it was a bit sneaky and arrived early. I got these two pics with my camera phone. The pics doesn't give the sky justice, it was really mean looking before the lightning, thunder and rain hit. I only had two more curb meters to do when it started lightning real bad, I headed for the safety of my work car, I can get those curb meters done later on this afternoon.

Since Cass likes storms, I know she would have liked to see this one arrive.

I have been watching the storms on the radar. They were calling for us to get major storms this morning. 80% chance. It is sunny and humid and the sky is clear! :sad2: Go figure.

I "ALWAYS" enjoy the food on the ship, even Hazel will tell you, it's so much better than what we eat around here......

With Hazel being so short, she was not allowed near the stove growing up, I guess that's why I call her the package food queen now.......

OK Cass, I won't say a word about how "YUMMY" the chocolate peanut butter pie was!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We are having a pretty bad storm now. Elaine and I went to Chinese Buffet for lunch and when we came out it was absolutely pouring. We stood under the overhang for a few minutes, then I got impatient and got the car. Chivalry is not dead as I picked her up! LOL

However, now I am pretty soaked!
