Hi Karen - sean is booking toda but we are struggling to get flights back on the saturday after the cruise, may have tocome back on the sunday and take another day off school. Thanks for the advice.

Sat waiting for Olivia to come in from high school, i used to pick her up but now she comes on the school bus. so scary waving her off today but just managed not to cry.

Are you booking online? - it usually says "change your flight" - if you click that it may give you an alternative flight for the same day. It did for us.

We've got VS075 - 17th Oct 10.25am

returning on VS074 - The later flight 31 Oct. The VS076 was already full weeks ago when I first checked. Our flight takes off 20.40 landing 09.50. Both flights are economy. Inc our frequent virgin 10% discount the total was £1473.10

Ellis doesnt go back til Monday. We're off to Legoland for 2 days tomorrow. Pray it stays dry for us .

I hope Olivia had a nice day at school and doesnt come home with too much homework!

Karen that is nice you are coming into Florida for 2 weeks. I guess when you are flying all that way you should stay as long as possible.

I hate flying and it is all I can do to be in a plane for the 2 and a half hours it takes us to fly there.

Just curious how long is the flight to Orlando?

Matthew- Very cool info about the port I have a feeling you might be right about an LA port, especially if they plan on doing cruises to Hawaii! With the new DVC there, I'm sure it might be an option for them

Heather - We rented a house in Formosa Gardens once and we took the back way to Animal Kingdom and we were in the parking lot in about 6 minutes

Kim - We have some friends coming with us and their daughter Bailey will be 17 when we cruise.

Direct - I refuse to change planes. Its bad enough dealing with 1 airline re Ellis' nut allergy let alone 2.

I agree with you, I have never had to have a connecting flight and unless there is absolutley no other way I always fly direct.

Dont worry about keeping up, its just a lot of chit chat. If theres anything important it will be on post 1 of each thread. Its great to see you on here though. We like getting to know you before the cruise. We were all strangers once! - you've plenty of time to get to know us all.

Captain Tom just made an announcement as we were getting ready to leave Nassau. Because of Hanna our course has now changed and the mystery now begins. We will NOT be heading for our second Castaway Cay day on Friday. It is predicted that Hanna will pass to the east of Castaway Cay and Nassau on Friday, and predicted to make landfall in South Carolina on Saturday. Captain Tom said we are headed to the Straights of Florida. It was reported that Hanna is getting stronger and larger.

As far as today goes, Hazel and I went into Nassau to do a little shopping. We picked up a couple of t-shirts for our daughter and also a few 18th Birthday gifts for her as well. So, Lina when you read this, you will have to wait until we arrive home to find out what these surprise gifts are, but we know you will like them, love you sweetie.

We had lunch at Topsiders this afternoon, then went to see Wall-E at 3pm, but by 3:30 we were leaving the Buena Vista Theatre as we were both falling asleep. We arrived back at our cabin and took a nap until Captain Tom came on with his announcement.

We have dinner in about one hour, tonight we will be back in Animator’s Palate for Pirate Night.

I guess that’s the latest for now, feel free to follow along for the rest of our mystery cruise.
