7 lbs, 14 oz is how big my Derek was. He now is almost tall enough to look me in the eye.......

Brent stated tonight at the show that we are now headed southwest in the area on the Florida Keys to stay away from Hanna. Tomorrow is a scheduled sea day anyhow, so we will see where we go from there on Friday......

Still having a great time and enjoying the ship no matter where we go......

Rachel survived her first day of high school yesterday! She said it wasn't as bad as she was expecting, she was able to get her locker open and she was only a little late for one class because she turned the wrong way down a hall way. Today she actually said she liked high school! I took a few first day of school pictures yesterday morning and I'll have to post them when we get our good computer back from being fixed, there's no way to download pictures on the ancient laptop I'm using now.

We had a fun wet day. It rained 6 out of the 8 hours. It was really chilly too. Our rain suits did their jobs. We are in Kansas City, Missouri. As soon as we got to the hotel Walt wanted to go have barbecue. The restaurant (Fiorella's Jack Stack barbecue) is known as one of the best barbecue places in Kansas City. Then we got back and took a dip in the spa while our clothes were washing. Some of them got wet today from all the rain. Congrats to Robin, Mike and family. Well it is time to go and relax. Hope the weather is better tomorrow. We have plans on going to a couple Harley Dealers, Harley production site and a double header baseball game. Talk to you all later. Diane

Rain will move into Northern Virginia Friday late evening. The brunt of the storm will be Saturday. Sunday might be OK depending on how fast the storm moves once it gets onshore. Which part of Virginia are you in? I live 30 miles west of DC.

What are the dates that the Magic will be in Dry Dock? Does anyone know exactly where it will be? I'm thinking that it would be a nice family outing to drive down and see it if I could get somewhere to get some good pics.

It is sometime in Oct. I think. It will be beside Waterside in Norfolk. Very easy to spot. At least it was last time.
