I should be relaxing today since it's a holiday but NO!!! I have papers to grade and a class that starts tomorrow to prepare for! NOT FAIR!!! LOL

Just curious what you do that you actually have to stay there. I'm a regular staff nurse (pediatrics), so when we end up on call due to low census, we just have to be available to come in. I actually worked the weekend but have the day off today. Matthew is working today so I am trying to find fun things to do with the kids.

I'm an ultrasound tech. I don't have to stay here but with as often as we get called in here at the hospital I work at it only makes sense to just hang out here until my on-call time is over. I hate it when I just pull into the driveway and my pager goes off and I have to turn around and drive right back, especially at 2am I always bring stuff to do in between and while I'm not clocked in I'll peek in here ocassionally. We get called in so much that myself and most of my co-workers actually sleep here while we are on call at night. We are hoping that by the end of the year or early next year they will hire a third shift tech and someone to work the pms on the weekends.

Yep, in about 20-30 minutes...then off to Parrot Cay or Topsiders. I guess we are all living vicariously through Andy and Hazel for the next 5 days.
