Morning all!

Survived lunch with the in-laws and didn't even ask Jay to make it up to me by buying me lots of cheese for dinner. :rotfl2:

Hope everyone is having a great day - we've got lots to do here in Stinktown (mostly house cleaning stuff ... yawn).

Talk to ya later! :goodvibes

Glad you survived lunch with the in-laws!

Ours gather monthly to celebrate b-days and anniversaries....sometimes it's fun, and sometimes we just try to survive it!

Have a good weekend!

Paige - just watching reports of Gustav gaining strength, hoping your family is safe.:grouphug: :grouphug:

Thanks. I am a little frustrated with the nat'l news....only reporting NOLA. There are lots of middle class and poor people who live elsewhere in Louisiana who are evacuating and basically getting ready to pull themselves up by their bootstraps without complaint.....sorry, I'm on my soapbox. Prayers for all of the Gulf Coast (yes, even NOLA) from me. If you hear them talk about towns named Morgan City, New Iberia, Abbeville, Intracoastal City, then you know my family is getting hit. We are from a town called Delcambre. (Sorry, I know I probably said that before now.)

On a happier note, we are headed out for our free ticket baseball game to see the Nats play the Braves. Not strong teams but when the price is right......:cool1:

Y'all have a great day!:goodvibes

Our thoughts and hearts are with you, Sistah! And the media is just dumb sometimes ... they always focus on the "big story" that will draw people in so they'll watch. But the American people know this is impacting everyone down there and we're concerned for all of our fellow citizens. :grouphug:

Good morning everyone! :wave2:

I have posted installment #2 of our Disney Med Cruise on YouTube.
For those of you that missed the first part, I'll post links to both.

This second video is for a single day. July 10th we arrived in Naples. Our tour for the day took us to the Island of Capri, then Sorrento, and finally Pompeii. It was a very long day, but I would do it all over again if I could. :goodvibes

Enjoy!

I hope they stay safe Paige. Still no news of it over here so I cant keep up to date with whats happening. I'll put them in my prayers:hug:

Has your family evacuated?

Yes they have....Some are going to Austin, TX, but some (because my dad is stubborn) are just going up the road to Baton Rouge to higher ground....One of my brothers is staying behind. He has a strong house with a second floor if he needs it.

Thanks, B. I just get carried away because I would like to go and help my parents. Ok, but now I am off to a baseball game.

Another great video Matthew. Pompei is spooky isnt it! Neils parents went - they have some strange body shape photos like yours:scared:

I have another question - watching Matthews video I noticed the photos of the 2nd bed on the wall. How do I find if our cabin has one? I bet Ellis would love it up there:banana: , but I dont want to show him the photo til I know if we have one?

Thank you everybody for all the pm's re the Boo!

I'll get him sorted later.

I'm wading through hundreds of villas at the moment - I've found 3 I like so far - 2 in my budget and very nice, and 1 $180 over:rolleyes1 (but its the nicest):rolleyes1

The second bed comes out of the ceiling. I believe most, but not all cabins have them. I think they only pull it down if there are four people in the cabin. I suppose you could ask your room steward to pull it down though.

Matthew

Nancy, you, Becky and I are all sandwiched together next to each other - free window sistahs!:rotfl:

No better sandwich than that one! :thumbsup2

I'll make sure the curtain is drawn before I shower:rotfl:

I should just leave my curtains open. That way I can have a guaranty that no one will ever lurk outside my window for the rest of the cruise. :goodvibes

The Dawg better be good or we may have to take him to the vet. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl2: He might be too far gone Robin.:rotfl2:

Our pizza last night was delicious - we're having the remainder for dinner tonight with some wedges and coleslaw -

A Wedge? = Wedge of lettuce with dressing???:confused3

Save that first one for Jeff. We'll expect him to top that for the next 4th of July picnic at his house next year. :thumbsup2

Fantastic job Matthew! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

OK, BOBers...I hate doing this but may I impose on a few thoughts and prayers for my daddy please? Seems like he fell for the 4th time this summer and is hurt again. Most of you remember last December and that he ended up in the hospital until April because of it. I won't go into detail here (because you know how I am about this thread), but if you remember to add John into your prayers tonight, it would be truly appreciated.

Thank you.

Nancy dear ... you should have typed that in larger font. I needed a magnifying glass to read it. :lmao:

All joking aside, you know you and your family are always in our thoughts. We'll just start thinking a little harder.
