Good morning kids As promised, here are a few pictures of last nights TX-WI meet with Walt and Di.

The TX-WI gang (with Chuck hiding as usual).

Beautiful Rachael.(Look at those eyes...she's got her's mama's. )

Our favorite Texans.(And speaking of beautiful eyes...check out Di's.)

Here's a little Food Porn for y'all.

Chuck's "Widow Maker" Burger. 6 lbs of beef (not really, but it sure looked it) topped with smokey bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion rings and cheese....glorious cheese!

Walt and Di had the same but were smart enough to share it. (Chuck ate only half of his burger)

I had a Caribbean Jerk Chicken salad:(with Chuck's pickle )

Cheryl and Rachael split these two plates. A Chinese chicken salad and a club sandwich with Tortilla soup. That salad looked so good I wanted to make a swap with them for mine.

And check out that rack of ribs that Al had.

We were also presented with the dessert tray of which we all gave a hesitant "no" to.
Take a gander at that 7 Layer Chocolate cake on the left! After the waitress's description of that cake, I stopped listening to what she said about the other desserts. I know there was a big slice of cheesecake there too. Maybe Walt remembers what they all were, he actually listened beyond the cake description.

And finally, here are our Texans with their HOG.

We all had a great time and had many laughs. A few little gifts were exchanged amongst us that everyone enjoyed. Walt and Di, once again we thank you again for your generosity but that waitress is in soooooo much trouble!! You guys are sweethearts and we look forward to spending more time with you on the ship next year enjoying all those smoothies that Rachael is buying.

Good morning eveyone. I have only a half day at work today and then off for an afternoon with my boys at the Packer Pre-Season game up in Green Bay. We'll grab a little lunch once we're up there and then party for a little bit with some of Tony's and Jesse's friends. We have 50 yard line seats compliments of my boss. Last year Cheryl and Al sat about 4-5 rows behind us and we enjoyed a little Packer game meet in the pouring rain. The weather looks like it'll be nice today though.

I love this time with my boys. We always have so much fun. We love to sit and people watch once we get to Lambeau. We just plop our chairs down and watch all the crazy Packer fans.

My camera was at the office, so Elaine sent me to go grab it as she wanted to snag these memories. I think the battery only had a few minutes left, so I was really worried it would have been dead.

I love BSG and don't know many people who watch it. I tried to get Elaine to watch it with me, but she only watched a few episodes and only cared about the Helo/Sharon hybrid baby. Maybe once it resumes we can hijack the thread on the evenings that it is on.

I'm sooooooooo excited!!!

I was on the Dibb and someone posted that they had just noticed their Virgin flights had come down by a couple of hundred pounds

I quickly got on their website and - saved $1,100

What a saving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We managed to get the outbound early flight we wanted but have had to settle for the later 20.40pm flight on the return so we'll be very tired bunnies by the time we take off being as we'll have been up early to get off the ship, but it'll be worth it

Thats awesome! I have always said that if I fly across the pond, I want to fly Virgin.

I had a similar feeling for our last cruise. I was reserved to the fact that we would have to drive as I was not happy with the airfare I was seeing despite checking the websites daily. One evening, I found Southwest from Hartford to Orlando for $59 each way. I jumped on it and as result it was cheaper to fly then drive.

I know how that feels to save so much $$$ or (tries to remember the icon for pounds!)

Great school pics! I always loved the first day of school. New notebooks, fresh pencils and crayons. I could spend hours in Staples! Who doesn't love the smell of new erasers.
Thanks for the pics MG! I wish we lived closer to you guys!! Lots of parties in WI!! Have a great time at the Packer pre season. My friend Tim is out there today with his family. Left the little woman here in VA with us. Boy was she mad!
Way to go on the savings Karen Mouse!! I saved $100 on Tues by rebooking our rental car for Sept.

I need a workout after just looking at that food porn. It all looked so good!

Karen--some U.S. schools have uniforms. Most private schools require them. Some public schools, too. It is a debate in every area. My kids go to school on a military base and do not wear uniforms, which may seem a bit odd. I think they do not do the uniform thing because we see so many uniforms everyday, that not requiring them gives the kids a chance to be themselves, unique. It makes me no difference, but when we are fighting about what they should wear to school, I wish they would wear uniforms.

Nice back to school pics everybody. I guess I should post mine. I've been lazy about transferring them to my computer.
