Ok, is anyone else tempted by the possible transatlantic crossings or baltic sea cruises for 2010?

Jeff your not going to mention the battle of the thongs then?....:rolleyes1

I do find it interesting that the thread talks about a woman (singular) in a thong they had a problem with, but no mentions the "captains" wife in a smaller thong/swimsuit.

Guess if you're "one of them", they won't attack you.

Jeff--I sent some DC info to your email address. Sorry, I sent it twice; my computer is giving me trouble.

Are you sure it wasn't the drinking getting in the way? :lmao:

Thanks. I'll take a look at it.

AHHH CUTE! Love the Transformers bag!

Well, my little munchkin has just gone into school.

The house is so silent its spooky! After 7 weeks of noise I'm not used to it. :rotfl:

Heres his piccies

Count us out we don't need to spent $$$$$$$$$$ to catch our death of cold thanks very much....But the Airfaircost would be good.....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:
What kind of ports do you think it would be? I'm not sure we'd be interested in the cruises once over there, but we'd be curious about the transatlantic ones.

The nearest car rental is Budget,we used them last week with no except the tank was only 3 parts full, but because a friend kindly offered to pay for my car hire i didn't bother going back in to question them about it....

Alamo took over 2 hours to sort me some wheels in LAX,then the bloody thing broken down on the way Vegas in the dark....at the time Hazel was :scared1: and the fact a Huge 50 wheeler trailer came up the dark ramp behind us and just sat there with his full beam on didn't help the situation either....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Actually, Hertz is the closest car rental location to the port. It is right in front of the new hotel, I believe the Country Inn. Hertz, however, is usually the most expensive.

I would not use Thrifty at the port. I've read that there are issues with them. Nothing wrong with Thrifty, I use them elsewhere, just not in Port Canaveral.

Since we won't be flying home right after the cruise in Oct '09, we will go with the cheaper between Budget and Avis.

Great! I've been contemplating one of them for a new desktop image. The sunset (or sunrise) pics are very soothing!

You should look at the Transatlantic back to the US. You would get a DCL cruise out of it and could save on half your airfare to Orlando.

If you can't copy the pics from the website, let me know and I can email you any that you need.

I try to pick the best of the several I take (sunrises/sunsets). I usually take about 4 of each, as it is going up/down.

I put all the ones up from Cartagena because they were so beautiful.

I do believe the amount of sunrises decreased after the canal. We slept in on the sea days.

Rich and Heather paid as much one way as we did both ways.....I'd do a Transatlantic in a heart beat but Hazel am not so sure it would all depend on the company....:rolleyes1

I won't even mention to Suz you are thinking of doing it. She will have me booking that right away. I made the mistake of telling her the ship may be going to Northern Europe in 2010. :sad2:

Chris,

I was thinking, how about Chicago/Wisconsin in August next year? It is hot that time of year and I have to take off a week with DS anyways.

Still plan on DC in Apr/May.

Maybe we could get you to come in one more time as well. Christmas maybe? :rolleyes1

O.K., time to start doing some work.

I have a meeting from 10-12, so I'll check back in after that.

And the cash for all these trips is hiding where prey tell?....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:
