Hi guys! We are just back from the rockin and rollin 5 nighter on the Magic. We booked this one while on board! Praying for calmer seas on that one! I just can't seem to get my recliner to stop floating!

That's a new one!! Ohionite? Buckeye, loud and proud!!! Nice to meet you all! We cruised last Sept. just the two of us for our 25th. We had such a great time even though people looked at us strangely when we said we were cruising Disney. Didn't get to Serenity Bay on this last one - looking forward to that again!

Anyone ever cruised this time of year? Do they decorate for Halloween or anything? We cruised before Christmas once and the ship was beautiful. We went to MK last week and the park was sooooo kewl! Loved the Mickey pumpkins!

Looks like GB may get extra for the trade now that Brady is out for the season. I think there was some contingency on wins against the Pats.

Most of us actually cruised last year around this time. Granted it wasn't over Halloween. They did not have anything special for us. Not sure about the cruise right after us.

I'm the resident lunatic so please don't be alarmed by anything that I post ... I'm completely harmless.

My name is Brenda and my hubby is Jason - this is our third Disney cruise and second Eastern itinerary. Our past two cruises were in October ... I've never seen much in the way of Halloween decoration on the ship. From what I've heard that's usually only something that happens on Halloween itself. We might get lucky next year since we disembark on Halloween ... guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Thought I would ask. The ship doesn't need anything else to be special any day! I was surprised to see the park decorated all ready - we were there Aug. 31. Never even thought about fall decorations. We were there for spring break one year and I don't recall Easter decorations but I am sure they were there. Not sure why the Mickey pumpkins impressed me so! Someday I will get there to see Christmas decorations too!

I think MNSSHP started on the 6th of Sept this year. If you have never gone, you should try it sometime. My family really enjoys it.

There is a new mega SIM that came out today called "Spore". It is from Electronic Arts. Its pretty amazing, but hard to describe. We've just started playing it. You actually start out in a tide pool as a microorganism, and eventually evolve in a "creature". Then you form a tribe, then a city, at eventually end up in space. The really neat thing about it is that all of the creatures that different people create are transmitted on the internet and will show up in other people's games. So let's say Cass makes a creature in Calgary. I might encounter that creature in my world even though Cass and I have no real connection playing the game. Infinite combinations means infinite diversity. What will they think of next. Every decision made in the different stages of your "evolution" has lasting effects on the rest of the game. How you behave toward others, what you eat, where you go, etc.

Another neat side effect of the game is that it teaches various concepts to the kids. Learning about ecosystems, traits, cause and effect, etc. No matter how well you seem to be doing in the game, "There's always a bigger fish". (To quote Star Wars) Sarah got very upset when she was in the tide pool and a "giant" microorganism came along and ate her!

That sounds like a fun game. A long time ago I plaed a game on Nintendo 64 called Aerobiz Supersonic. In the game you are a Airline CEO and have to manage an airline, picking routes, aircraft etc. I stayed up literally all night playing it until I beat it when I rented it. This was about 13-14 years ago.
