In St. Louis we have Unfriendlies. Every third ice cream is served with the remnants of a broken plastic spoon hidden inside.

Good morning everyone...

I am a fan of Fribbles, the chocolate variety anyway. When I was growing up, my dad used to always get frustrated with me. When we would go to Friendly's I would get a single order of cheese sticks for an appetizer, a Cheeseburger and Fries, and a chocolate Fribble to drink. He would always say, "Chris your order alone is $10" Now that same order would be at least $15! I rarely get Fribbles now with my meal. I have to be really be in the mood, but I do get them if I am just getting ice cream. I tend to prefer shakes anyway over cones and sundaes.

Us too, that is definitely something to look forward to. My sister and I were just saying it will be so fun in the days leading up to the cruise to see everyones excitement and hearing everyone say, "we are heading to the airport"

It's typically an east coast restaurant. The first store opened somewhere around Springfield, Massachusetts. I think the name of the town is Wilbraham.

You probably don't have Dunkin Donuts there either. They are on every corner in New England!

Joanne great pictures. Oh by the way that picture of you that you are worried about was deleted a long time ago by me.
Today I plan to do nothing. Yesterday I helped my boys with there next years fire wood. We hand loaded and stacked 4 cord. This 65 year old body is feeling it today. As Nancy said this morning you arn't 20 years honey. I guess my mind say's yes and my body is saying no no no.
Joanne if we don't drive down next year we might have to hitch another ride with you guys. Even better than that you guys come a day or so early we can do the parks together and I need a partner to go down Everest. What do you think about that?

So it appears Chuck and I are becoming "Empty Nesters" by the weekend.
Kristin and Jesse found a really great apartment to rent about 10 minutes away from us. She started moving stuff in last night but they can't officially stay there until November 1st.

I'm one of those weird mom's though. I am NOT looking forward to the empty nest at all. I'd love to keep my kids near and dear to me all the time. Now, Chuck on the other hand just about has Kristin's room cleared out.

Tony asked him if he was making her room into the "boom-boom" room and wondered how long until the poles were delivered. Men!!!

We do have Dunkin Donuts...but not on every corner. We have 1 in town...but I try to stay out of there!

Thanks for thinking of that! I needed that reminder today. When I walked the kids to the bus stop I reminded them and we talked about the cruise and MNSSHP that we will do 10/31/09. I was already discussing our ride lineup!
