Where are you? Are you okay?

I know I posted somewhere yesterday but with 3 sites going I'm not sure where! When you posted this I was having breakfast in preparation for a 1/2 day in 5th grade. Nice to know we were missed!!

Nancy

Thank goodness!!! I have a tradition with my brother for Black Friday: we get up early, hit the mall, have a nice lunch and then go to the movies. I always look forward to it.

That sounds like a great tradition! I work the Friday after Thanksgiving so I do most of my shopping that day online. Megan usually meets me for dinner and then we do some shopping. :woohoo: This year we are going to Nashville on that Sat and watch the University of Louisville play. :cheer2: We are going with a bunch of friends so it should be fun.

Our grandson (the one without the toe) will also be 19 next month - the 17th. Loved the pictures!

Our baby girl will also be 19 on Dec. 5th.

Mimi your daughter is beautiful and what a plus that she is also a wonderful person. I am enjoying Megan so much at this age. I am blessed that I actually like both of the kids as people. Ryan is 24. We went out to dinner with him and Alisha on Sat and he paid the check. I thought I would have to perform CPR onTommy.

Well we decided to take the day off. We joined our neighbor and went to Toys R Us to start figuring out the kids Christmas gifts. We were surprised to see that Wii's were in stock. We have been going back and forth whether we are going to get the kids a Nintendo DS each, or a Wii to share. :confused3

We then had a nice lunch together at Friendly's and now we are back home relaxing until the kids get home.

Hey guys :wave2:

I'm baaaaack ;)

Got home at 2 AM and then had about 6 hours of sleep. Got up and showered and eagerly went to get Kira :cool1: :woohoo: She was soooo cute! As soon as she saw me she smiled, yelled MOMMY and squealed with delight  :cloud9: Then she saw her daddy and said REALLY loudly DADDY!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

She had a really good week with her auntie and uncle and we REALLY missed her but we had a good time too!

Just getting back to normal now, got some groceries and cooking supper now (ech :crazy2: I hate cooking) and Rob is doing laundry.
:laundy:

Off to peak at Bendy's review :woohoo:

Can't wait for your trip report and photos. Glad you're back Cass.

Wealways enjoy going to Friendly's. In fact, I have a Friendly's coupon in my wallet!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Karen, it's fall here. The leaves have fallen off the tree (year-end expenses of Xmas presents, property taxes, home/personal insurance, etc.). Seems to be timed with the seasons.

And you wonder why we're not on the plane that way? Try those airfares combined with a week dollar. :scared1:

But its your turn to come to our country Jeff:goodvibes As for the leaves falling - surely that just saves you the job of picking the $50 bills off the tree, now you can just get your ds out there picking up the $$$$:lmao:

Wow....that's insanity!
And here I am mulling over having to pay about $500/person for a one way to Barcelona! I don't feel so bad suddenly!!!! :scared:

$500! Thats a great price!

I never bought every one, but I do have some favorites. So, I pick and choose. I have the original Snow White set and some of the limited pieces (queen, hag, prince). I have most of the original Bambi...but I missed the mouse and I have separate Bambi and Flower. The rest are mostly individual pieces. I like the Small World set...but I am buying only my favorites. That's what's new that I want...as well as a couple of others.

You're right about availability, though. That does make it kind of sad.

My dealer is also almost an hour away. So, that makes it hard.

Do you have any pictures of your collection? I could take some and have Matthew post them for me.

I may have some piccies - I'll have a look. I have 2 large cabinets full. My most rare is the cinderellas dress where the mice are making it. Paid a fortune for that piece:rolleyes1

I am determined to be DONE and wrapped with Christmas gifts before Thanksgiving Day.

Me too! I have almost finished writing my cards, I have all of Ellis', and about half of everybody elses.:thumbsup2 I have even got Ellis almost finished writing his class cards.:rotfl: - I like being organised:rolleyes1

You can see one of the cabinets on the right. The other is exactly the same - full! Ignore the hamster cage and little tree - thats just the tree for in the dining room. Our main one is 8ft tall

New floors go in today. :thumbsup2 Now they will have hard floors throughout the house, so when this happens again, the clean up will be much easier. How 'bout down on your end?

Good for them. Insurance is such a hassle.

Every thing is back to normal here. Tourism is really off though, I guess just a sign of the economy. I hope we survive the winter.

Us too but it's me and the neighbor, just the girls then the men and kids meet for a movie. Usually a sappy Christmas movie, thet the older boys just love!!!:rolleyes1

Joanne,
Is this someting we should be concerned about? I think we are linked for dining.

Who know's but we have a while untill we need to dai anything. Hopefully we can get Palo brunch in the big room again!!! With three sea days it should be easier I would think.

Is that up already?

I hope we can do the Brunch in Parlo. Nancy was talking about it the other day.
Joanne she is getting more existed about this cruise than the members. what an influence you are girl:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
We were checking flights the other day if the prices keep going the way they are we will be driving and staying a few overnights. Example a Delta flight from Portland to Orlando with a layover in Atlanta cost more than a $1000.00 round trip for two. When we flew last month for the Members Cruise it was only 528.00 round trip for two from Logan in Boston. Maybe things will change before Oct.
Joanne you haven't sent Cass the in fo that goes with your picture Ha HA. We just did yours today.
I guess us Sox fans will have to wait for next year. Maybe Roger and I will be watching it next Oct on the Cruise
