I am out of "Lurkdom" this AM. I have a class that I have to post online this morning before I head off to work.

PS: My vote is WDW during the Christmas season. We went one year right after Thanksgiving. The weather was great, no lines, and wonderful christmas decorations. I would go again at that time.

Good morning people

Hope you all have a nice day.

I'm out to lunch with a friend - huge buffet of chinese, indian, italian and thai, followed by a dessert buffet - (I usually have about 20 profiteroles)

I did do 2 1/2 hours in the gym yesterday though so that should have burned off enough for a few profiteroles

I LOVE profiteroles!!! We get them in a restaurant in NYC where the waiter brings a copper pot full of melted chocolate, and doesn't stop pouring until you tell him!

I will ditto all of the above....(seems like Lori was reading my mind).

With all the times we have been to WDW since our first trip in September 1983, we have yet to see it decorated for the Holidays, maybe one of these years before I croak, we will get there........

Us too Andy. Except for my very first trip to WDW when I was 17, every other trip was other than Christmas. All there was in 1973 was the Magic Kingdom and I was too young to notice all the nice decorations.

Glad to to see the pictures of the Blue Angles. They were here in Brunswick Naval station last month for the annual Great State of Maine Air Show.
Just setting with a cup of coffee and wife is still snoozing.
I thought after we retired I would be able to sleep late NOT the old body clock.

Happy Bosses Day ​

Hmmm, wonder if my sales staff will shower me with gifts and extra time off.

.........NOT! I do know that they are throwing a luncheon though. One of them even asked me to bring my Cherry Almond Zucchini bread.
The lunch sounds fattening so I'm off for a walk with Chuck and the dog (Cabo). We'll have to take our lanterns with us because it is black black black outside and we no street lights around here.

I see that a lot of people are looking at doing a WDW vacation next. If you had a choice between doing a couple of weeks in either the end of june or the beginning of july vs the 2 weeks at christmas time (like the 19th on) what would you choose?

I've done 4th of July and it's crazy crowded but the fireworks are incredible!

Right after Thanksgiving is a great time to go. All the decorations are up, lines are short and the Christmas events are happening (MVMCP, Candlelight Processional, etc.). Each resort has a gingerbread in their lobby and the chefs complete with one another. The Beach Club had an entire carousel, complete with moving horses, made out of gingerbread! It's fun just to tour around the resorts just to see the gingerbread! There is also a holiday backstage tour which is supposed to be fabulous.

Howdy All...........

Looks like my morning workout will be an afterwork workout today. I kind of overslept this morning thanks to the Phillies win last night that put them into the World Series. I tried going to bed early, but I couldn't drag myself away from the game. At least they won, so that made it worth it.......

Congratulations Andy! Nice to see the Phillies make it to the World Series! (and Manny not!)

I hope they like it, and they don't think I'm being "cheap". It actually isn't too cheap by the time I buy the t-shirts, transfers, ink cartridge, tags, etc.

I'm still working on the DISigns for the t-shirts and door signs, but I found a cool template for DCL luggage tags online, and those I have printed off.

i hope they think it's fun...we'll see!

I'm sorry Jen, that I didn't get back to you yesterday. I had to get back to work and then I have a meeting to attend last night. I'm feeling fine...how about you?

We also stayed up too late wating baseball. I was hoping Joe Torre would go. Oh well congrats to the Philies. The boys are not happy in my house with the sox. I try not to smile too much--sorry Dan.

Work is nuts so I wil try to catchup this week end.

What is a profitroll? Any ting cover in Chocolate can't be bad.

Christmas time is wonderful at WDW never go the week between Christmas ans New years. It is so crowded the parks actually close for max capacity. You have to wait for bathrooms- food- everything. It was miserable. Thanksgiving week isn't bad and the decorations are up the friday after.

That's OK...I posted this before I saw your post saying you were heading back to work!

I'm doing fine! I spent some time last night working on the designs for the t-shirts I'm making for the family. I asked everyone to pick their favorite Disney character and I'm putting a BOB "pocket size" design on the front of the shirt and a character design on the back of the shirt. I think they'll be cool!

Ok, now it's my turn to head back to work....Bye!
