10/24/09 Bash on the Boat (I'm With BOB) Thread #12

Good morning everyone!

I'm behind again on the thread....is anyone making ressies today for 2010?
Not me! Although it would be nice, but we will either go to WDW in late 2010 or wait until 2011 to go on a nice long WDW vacation. This is especially true if we get our MK fix at MNSSHP after the BOBer cruise.

Our next cruise after the BOBer cruise will most likely be on one of the new ships or RCCL.

So, is anyone booking anything for 2010 tomorrow morning?

I'm looking at moving 2 cruises, but don't think we'll do either. I may cancel one ressie all together and use the other for 2011 on the new ship.

I'm looking at Jamaica and Mexico (Puerto Vallarta and Cabo) prices for the end of this month (same week as the BOB next year) and can't believe how cheap you can get an all-inclusive, with air, for then. We're talking under $2,600. I think Suz will want to switch back to a beach vacation in 2010.

Although, 5-nights on the Wonder would be nice. Only been on that ship once.

Ashamed to admit it Jeff, but we are waiting for a price on the Sept Transatlantic

That would be so cool! The transatlantic ones would be neat - DH and I don't get that much vacation time though....

Thanks for the tip Chris! I moved everything to Photobucket and now it works! :yay:
Here we are in Palo's 'private room' for brunch :cloud9:

Good morning everyone!

We are still contemplating the TA Westbound and I was able to secure two CAT10s for us at a very very low price. I got through online this morning and was done by 8:50am -- my TA has been having trouble getting through on her TA site all morning and couldn't get a second stateroom for me!

We're mulling it over but really are leaning toward it. Right now the biggest hangup is the flight to Barcelona. Not even so much the price right now as much as we're not sure if the kids could handle such a lengthy flight.

If we do move forward to the TA in 2010 we will not be cruising next year. There is no way we'd be able to afford it otherwise.

Anyone else?

Jeff's been on hold forever himself Mel. I think he's giving up and calling back later. :surfweb:
Did he get through?
I didn't even bother with the phone. I just kept trying the online system. As you can see from my previous post I got through and secured a reservation by 8:50am.

I thought it wasn't opening until 9am, though? :confused3

I just got done booking the WB crossing. Cat 7. That is the year I turn 40 so I figure it will be a year long celebration. Yeah if WDW get almost 18 months to celebrate something, I get at least one, right?

Annette :)
