Great! I hope that works out for her!!!

Lina just called from the mall, she is there putting in job applications, she has been to four different stores and put in an application at each store.

Lina stopped in Build-a-Bear and just for the heck of it, asked if they were hiring. Lina worked at this store for 10 months before her departure in January. Lina was told that the store wasn't allow to hire anyone under 18 anymore and they do need help. The on duty assistant manager, told Lina to call back tomorrow and speak to the store manager if she is interested in coming back there to work. Lina sounded excited on the phone, I hope this works out for her. One thing with working there before, she knows the system!!!

Nothing new and exciting to report from this end except tonight we go to pick up Kristin's wedding gown. and Of course my dear daughter had to pick out the 2nd most expensive one in the shop. I'd better pick up a lottery ticket on my way into work today.

Edited to add: I just checked the tickets I had here at the house and I won!!! I really, really did!!! One whole dollar.

morning all!

Flooding flooding everywhere but not at our house ... is it wrong to be so relieved about that?

The flood gates are closed downtown ... it looks like the Mississippi is going to hit "moderate" flood stage again and it will crest tomorrow in St. Louis at 7 feet over flood.

The Missouri river is going to crest in St. Charles at 8 feet over flood stage and that's cresting today. There was some concern over 7 different agricultural levies being overtopped because the water was rising so fast, but it looks like the county has dodged a bullet.

This has been the weirdest weather year here in St. Louis that I've ever seen.

Congrats girls. Good job!!!

I am truly inspired. I have been following WW at work. My company pays for it. I have only lost 8 lbs, but I can feel it in my clothes. The last 2 weeks I have stayed the same. I really wasn't getting into it.

After reading this, I am ready to go read my WW materials to get back on track. I'll be happy with another 15 to 20 lbs.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Sometimes the scales don't show the huge drop you expect, especially when you've been so good, so heres a tip. Use a piece of string round your bust, waist, hips, etc instead of a tape measure, you'll notice the difference as the string gets shorter and shorter

Heather, thanks for that!!!!!!!! What an inspiring story. I feel I have been stuck at 50 lbs for a couple of months now but have started back up and been doing better again. Thanks for the encouragement!

And you and Hazel both look AMAZING!! CONGRATS TO BOTH OF YOU!
