Stay safe, Robin. Ike was with us this morning ... we got more than 6 inches of rain in about 5 hours and clocked wind gusts over 60 mph. We lost power a few times but it always came back on in a short period of time. There was a ton of local flooding in areas that have never flooded before.

Thanks Brenda...They just issued the Wind Warning for our area with winds reaching 70 MPH until 2 AM. It's going to be a fun night.

OK updated the blog to go through Puerto Vallarta, even starting to add some pics in with it.

I uploaded our Disneyland pics into our smugmug account. The password is DH+my names as one word. If you don't know it PM me. I'll be working on getting the other bazillion up this week or as I can commandeer DH l laptop.

Yay! I'm going to go check it out.

The winds are getting pretty strong here and the electricity keeps flickering, so if I disappear, you'll know the power went out.

Wanna hear what happened at work last week?



My boss go fired!! She was scheduled to have a meeting with our VP on Thursday at 4:30. She called us in the project room 15 minutes later and said she was on her way home because she had gotten fired.

None of us 3 team members were the least bit upset, because she was such a hindrance to the project. She was always given directives which she never finished. When they were close to being due, she would pass them off to someone else and blame them for not doing them.

So the joke around the project room is... If the VP ever wants to schedule a 4:30 meeting with you...DON"T GO!!!

I'd be POO POOing bricks.

Then on Friday, I got another promotion. It was a good week.
