have fun!
Have a great day everyone. I'm off to get some work done. Be back a little later. :)

Could have had this FO Mel........;)

Had a nice 620 calorie burn-off this morning, arrived at Riverwinds 5 minutes early, so I added an extra 5 minutes to my treadmill time. :goodvibes

Now it's time to get ready for work.........

Good morning everyone. Its kind of a dreary day here today, and it is going to be a very LONG day.

On a slightly sadder note, Dad went back into hospital on Monday. I was with Mum until they took him to his ward and we left at 11.30pm. So what with jet lag....we were knackered (british term for really tired). But he looked a lot better yesterday when Rick and I visited. Just wish the Drs could figure out whats wrong.

Anyway, got to keep positive.

Have a great day everyone and I'll stop by later (meetings and work permitting).

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for Heather's Daddy, and the rest of the family, too.

Hope your dad gets better soon, Heather!

We're in for a soggy weekend ... another six inches or so of rain when all is said and done by Sunday night (more hurricane remnants headed our way).

Walt & Di ... are you guys going to be OK in the path of this current hurricane? I sure hope so.

Hey, Sistah P ... are your parents OK in light of this storm? I know they're in LA, but I've been seeing some pretty impressive storm surges all across the gulf and I was wondering how they were doing. :goodvibes

Heather,
Prayers for your family in trying times....

Brenda,
So far, monster is predicted to hit Houston Area. We will not be impacted, if so. Thanks :confused3

They should be fine. They had reservations in case they had to evacuate; they were more than happy that they had to cancel them.

We hardly use ours at all. Heck, DS uses it more than we do. In fact, he was just in it a couple nights ago. Before that, it was him who was last in it.

Everyone wants one when they buy or build, but no body uses them. The big thing now are the "spa" showers. Now that I would like to have. I take a shower everyday, can't remember the last time I sat in the tub.

That's why we declined to buy the whirlpool tub when we bought our house. We are, however, planning to redo our shower: too small and I hate the shower door cleaning (metal edge with track...very hard to clean.) We are thinking of the shower glass without the metal track. We might also go for the plumbing change to bring in that "shower spa" feel!:thumbsup2

I really want to go to London. I cannot wait until the kids are older to be able to travel to beautiful places like this. :wizard:

When you do.... make sure you bring lots of ££££ - everything is twice the price and half the quality over here:rolleyes:

Well done Andy - you beat me by 20 calories:lmao:

Good morning all,

Heather- hope your Dad gets better soon.

I am working from home today. The roads are still flooded and closed.

Here's a picture of the flooded hwy.

Happy Friday all.

Holy cow! :scared1: - stay safe:hug:

Well, I'm about half way through my chores and errands. I have 2 1/2 hours til I have to collect Ellis from karate. Hopefully I'll get the ironing done in time:rolleyes:

Fetched the cake and picnic food:thumbsup2

Still got to sew a badge on his beaver uniform by tomorrow.

I also managed to invite the school commitee to my house on Monday morning:rolleyes: - me and my big mouth. I have warned them its likely to resemble a war zone with balloons and wrapping paper everywhere:rolleyes1

Geez, that means I have to clean on Sunday evening:scared: :scared1:
