My precious MeiMei, a 9yo retired greyhound had most of her teeth pulled today. I'm over $2300 more broke!!!

Poor girl...she's just laying on a blanket near me. Blood still coming from her mouth. She only has 6 or 7 teeth left. Our Starlight doesn't have any whatsoever!!!

Here they are...Starlight is on the left and MeiMei is on the right:

My two are 2y2mo apart.

Fun times ahead, let me tell you! :rotfl2:

This was the picture from Ernie's birth announcement:

I cannot get over the fact that this picture is only about one year old. Wow how time flies!
Ours are too! Sam born 2/2000, Jay born 4/2002.

Oh poor MeiMei and poorer Mel, so sorry to hear this news. :guilty:

FUN TIMES!!!

Bathtime was the hardest to adjust to. It's difficult to stay with a routine when they are both on such different schedules for so long. Now it's better since they are on similar schedules. Ernie naps twice a day and Amelia stopped napping around 2yo. She does go to school during Ernie's morning nap, though.

And the other hard part of them being so close in age was having to buy so many diapers!! YIKES!

OH and shopping with both of them. That's still a ton of fun. :lmao:

I love it, though. Wouldn't have it any other way other than to have two more. I'd have loved a larger family but am elated with our blessings. :wizard:

Thanks. She had to have it done, though. Her teeth were rotting out of her skull. Starlight had hers done back in 2005. That was very expensive, too. Greyhounds are known for many things, but good teeth is not one of them.

MeiMei is my first little girl. I always tell her that. She's my baby. It's so sweet, too, ever since I started working from home she stays with me in my office all day. And EB is working in the basement in his office...Starlight lays next to him all day. :lovestruc

I love our greys!

Jay just saw the picture of the dogs and got excited. Our next door neighbor has a Greyhound with the same pattern on her coat.

One of the residents here in town have two Greyhounds, I love when I go in that house to read the meter, their greys are so friendly and I enjoy petting them. They both follow me to the meter and back.

I agree. Right now we have the perfect family. Two kids and a dog.

Funny you mentioned the diapers. That made me think of when we were planning our first cruise and Jay was having a really hard time with potty training. We were really nervous he wouldn't be ready by the cruise or worse, be the cause of a sudden pool closure! :headache: About 8 months out (I think) he was able to do it and was trained. We called my parents who were going and said, "Jay will be able to swim in the Mickey Pool!" I think we were just as happy as he was if not more! :cool1:

Well folks, that's it for me tonight. I can't keep my eyes open any longer. Adios until the morrow..........:wave2:

Can I do it again? My Bad.........:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Feeling the greyhound FO love!!! :lovestruc

They really are sweet dogs. They make great companions and are fantastic with kids.

I think your wallet was happy, too!!! :thumbsup2 :lmao:

Amelia was not trained on our cruise this last December and didn't care much for the Donald fountain. She was, however, trained a couple months after the cruise. Figures.

Ernie will probably not be trained by our cruise next year, though. I wish...that'll be difficult telling him he cannot go in the pool but his sister can. How do I explain that one? :confused3

Mel,
I thought one of the Mickey ears was a splash zone for the little ones that have to wear swim diapers?:confused3 My babies are 19 and 15 so I never had this dilema.:sad2:

Hi Becky,

Glad you're back. Have you gone back to middle school yet?

We're still in the honeymoon period!:goodvibes

Lori and I both have used the Mickey boat and pool as an incentive for potty training. DS was trained well before we went but not when we booked.:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
