Here's something with humor before I go to work. It's called, "Tight With God". Subject: Tight With God

An 80-year-old man goes for a physical. All of his tests come back with normal results. The doctor says, ' Bill , everything looks great. How are you doing mentally and emotionally? Are you at peace with God?'

Bill replies, 'God and I are tight. He knows I have poor
eyesight, so he's fixed it so when I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, poof! the light goes on. When I'm done, poof! the light goes off.

'Wow, that's incredible,' the doctor says.

A little later in the day, the doctor calls Bill 's wife.

' Ethel ,' he says ' Bill is doing fine! But I had to call you
because I'm in awe of his relationship with God. Is it true that he gets up during the night and poof the light goes on in the bathroom, and when he's done, poof the light goes off?'

'Oh my God!' Ethel exclaims. 'He's peeing in the refrigerator
again!'

:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rolleyes1

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: that's funny. Diane

your right. that sure is the life. Diane

We were on the plane leaving El Paso to go to California to do a road trip up the coast. We were there to change planes only. The plane was on the runway and was sent back and we were told we needed to get off the plane. We waited around to see what was going on finally they told us all planes were grounded. When we were boarding Walt saw something on the tv but did not realize what was happening. Once we got off the plane Walt immediately went to find us a room. Luckily we got a nice hotel room there because it was a long scary few days. We were on the border of US and Mexico. We got the first flight out to California on Friday morning. I will never forget when the plane lifted off into the air we all clapped. Now we dont like flying to El Paso since we usually get nervous about getting stuck there. Diane

We were returning from a court appearance that fortunately we didn't have to testify at and stopped at a Dunking Donuts. I heard the initial reports about the plane hitting there, and when we got back to the office 20 or so minutes later, we were told, "they just hit the pentagon." Over the next hour we were glued to the tv watching the towers fall, shedding a tear realizing that our world would be changed forever.

Also on that day we had to go to a Continuing Education seminar in Springfield, Mass. Samantha was only 19 months old and we had to drop her off at a caregiver's house. I must say that was very hard to do considering what we were feeling at the time. We drove to Mass listening to Tom Brokaw and NBC News on the radio. When we went through the Mass Turnpike we were just waved through and didn't pay a toll due to all state workers being sent home.

The next day we came out of our hotel and saw two businessmen staring into the sky watching a plane fly at a high altitude. It must have been a military jet of some sort. It was just odd...any other day no one bats an eye to a contrail in the sky, but this was no other day.

No postings in awhile, need to change that..........:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
