The RIU was almost done when we were there. We were at the Marriott Surf Club and loved the resort. Just a great trip!

Disgrits, I think they are right. Lets think this thru...2008 pts expire on 3/31/09 right? So if you banked them, it would be 3/31/10 for your April UY. I think you can try to call MS and have those points used in your reservation with the others returned to their UY. I have heard of others doing this without problems but have never done it myself. I'd ask MS about the expiration of those banked points just for curiosity while you had them on the phone too. Let me know how it works out.

Well guys, thanks for all the advice about DVC. I have a few dishes to do before going to bed....like I'll be able to sleep now that I am thinking about points...

This is how I am reading it. You borrowed a certain amount of points to cover this years trip. DVC will use the 2008 points before they use the borrowed points. So no you may not be able to bank the 2009 points you borrowed, because they will be the ones left over. It may say that you have 20 points for 2008, but more than likely those are the ones you left over from the 09 borrow.
Last year I borrowed points to send my wonderful inlaws(what the heck was I thinking) to HH. At the 29 day mark they called and said they couldn't go because MIL was having surgery on her knee that she injured over a month before . So I was stuck with a certain amount of points. Couldn't rent them out because you can only book so many days out when they are in holding, so not worth it. Soooooo.......I wound up going to DL and had 8 points left over. They considered these to be the borrowed points because they used the 08 points first then the borrowed.

DS was almost 3 when we were there. If I can find some pics from our trip to Manzanillo back jsut before he turned 1, I'll try to post those pictures. The ones of him sleeping on the beach are really cute.

If they are as cute as the ones you just posted, bring it on! I can't believe how little he is there. So cute!

I was going to ask the same thing, how the heck do you run up an extra $500 in Electric in 3 weeks? I don't think I could do that even if I left every light on while we were gone.

All I can think is that they ran the Air Con (learned that one from my buddies from the UK) 24/7. Of course being Sean's parents he is defending them with the "their old" ok 50 something isn't old, and "their from WA, it's like going from Norway to the Panama Canal" oh I think not! And they have only lived there for 3 years! Before that they lived here! And everytime we went to their house in the summer we would sit in the heat because it was to expensive to put the Air Con on! Why is my house so different~starting to think that I should have taken the kids with us would have been cheaper.

Well what's done is done, venting over, gotta go fertilize the money tree out back with the whole Norway statement he made.

I know Becky, I have been following that thread since it started. Seeing the latest pics added of the pools are horrible. I hope they get them cleaned up so people can use them. I know the ship just came out of dry dock, but the pools in that condition with sailing passengers just isn't right IMHO.
