Back from my workout. Burned off 1225 calories this morning, but still feeling a bit blue. Had some bad food choices this week, and even with my workouts, I managed to stay the same as last week's weigh-in. Next week "WILL" be better!!!

One good thing did happen this week, I moved up a notch on my belt. I'm down to the last whole on the belt. Another inch and I will have to buy myself a new (smaller) belt!!!

Andy, it's amazing that even when the scales stay the same the clothes still seem to fit better and beter. I have found that to be true this summer. Haven't really lost lots more weight but can fit into a size smaller clothes. I guess once your on a roll it just keeps going for a while.

I thought I would share a quick feel good story. A beloved veteran teacher (30+ years in elem. P.E. and lead teacher) had an aneurism last year and lost most of his leg. His insurance wouldn't pay for the expensive leg he needed in order to come back to work and he retired (he could have for some time). His doctor appealed the decision three times. When our community found out when we all came back to school this year, a committee to raise funds formed immediately. Today was Mr. C day.

The honor society that I sponsor at our middle school was in charge of the carwash. We washed 2 and 3 cars at a time from 9-12!!! The kids were great. There were several other activities going on. The biggest was a walk-a-thon. The whole community participated in one way or another.

We reached our goal of $25,000 for the new prosthesis. He'll be able to play golf again and enjoy his retirement!

For Mr. C!!! Gotta love him!!!!!!

Not really. Just flipping channels between church, lunch, and DD's voice recital later this afternoon. She's dreading it. She is singing Lori's suggestion Remember When and I think she'll be fine.

OK, I'm back on the board after two weeks.

I've been busy...

Beth insisted that I get back on and talk up the VA Dismeet that was discussed at the beginning of the month. I found an Outback Steakhouse in Fredericksburg, VA that seems like a good place to meet for dinner. (Of course, I'm open to any other suggestions as well.)

We were planning to make a weekend of it and drive down to Norfolk to see the Magic before it left. Unfortunately, it turns out that it sailed this morning.

How would Sunday (9/28) work for a dinner DISMEET though. I thought Fredericksburg would be centrally located for folks, but I am open to other suggestions. I'm near Manassas, I know Disgrits is in the vicinity of Quantico. Who else is interested and where are you?

Can you get it in USA? I know they do it in a ferw shops on I Drive, catering for the Brits who need their "fix" on holiday, but I didnt know you could get it anywhere else.

Yard sale went GREAT yesterday but today was a bust. We didn't do too much business and we still have SO MUCH left....even though we actually did sell quite a bit.
