Just got back from visiting my dear Mother:rolleyes:

:sad2:   :furious:

Not one word of thanks for any of the presents, the cards, the plant...

Her friend turns up while we're there, and she gushes over the flowers and card she's bought her.

She got her usual little jibes in about not seeing Ellis all week:rolleyes:

Then she starts moaning about the bank account I opened for her saying its probably the worst bank and she's worried about losing her money:mad: - its actually the best interest rate by far, one of the safest banks and it took me ages to set up for her, but will she listen?

Sorry for the moan:flower3:

Oh well, I'm home now, I dont have to listen to her anymore... We're off to see the sexy firemen:woohoo:

   :flower3: :flower3: :flower3:

All of this dentist talk is funny. I went to the dentist this morning too. Fortunately, I have pretty good teeth and have never had problems except for braces as a kid.

My dentist, the hygenist and me all talk Yankees so thats fun.

I know a really good place. "That's Amore' ".

I never even thought of that and that is one of our favorirte places to go :goodvibes We went to eat at the Butler Inn after dropping Rach off at my brother's house in Pewaukee. We had a very nice dinner there!

For dessert - Chocolate Motherlode Cake Super Moist Slice of our Six-Layer Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Chips, Fresh Walnuts and Chocolate Fudge Frosting Chocolate Cake at "Claim Jumper". One of Top 5 Desserts on Food Channel.. :lmao:

Wished I had a piece of it now....:confused3

Happy Anniversary to you

Walt

Thank you! Claim Jumper would have been a good idea too. We really enjoyed when we went there, especially the good company.

Happy Anniversary Cheryl & Al, hope you had a great date.

Thank you!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY CHERYL AND AL!

Thank you!

Instead of setting up something specific for the group why don't we just plan on an hour or two where those who are interested meet up at Diversions and order their own tasting? Then the folks who don't want the drinks but who might want to socialize can come too.

Just a thought. :goodvibes

Great idea :thumbsup2

I thought I would share a quick feel good story. A beloved veteran teacher (30+ years in elem. P.E. and lead teacher) had an aneurism last year and lost most of his leg. His insurance wouldn't pay for the expensive leg he needed in order to come back to work and he retired (he could have for some time). His doctor appealed the decision three times. When our community found out when we all came back to school this year, a committee to raise funds formed immediately. Today was Mr. C day.

The honor society that I sponsor at our middle school was in charge of the carwash. We washed 2 and 3 cars at a time from 9-12!!! The kids were great. There were several other activities going on. The biggest was a walk-a-thon. The whole community participated in one way or another.

We reached our goal of $25,000 for the new prosthesis. He'll be able to play golf again and enjoy his retirement!:grouphug:

What a great story. Thanks for sharing. Congratulations on reaching the goal :cheer2:

i know where all our WI folks are. the packers are on tv right now.

after the browns 0-3 start its back to watching womens beach volleyball
for underdog.pirate: :rolleyes1 :cool2:

And let's not forget this Western New Yorker Dallas Cowboy fan watching that game. :happytv: I like the halftime score. :thumbsup2 Cheryl, we received your phone message and returned it. Halftime is over. Back to the game.
Chris

We were at the Packer game, well Al and Rachel were at the game and I drove along with them and then just hung out in Green Bay while they were at the game. Rach was very upset that they lost.

hey chris. watch any golf this weekend? glad to see the "cup" is back where it belongs. (finally) :thumbsup2

we just had to leave that tiger guy out of it.

Oh please were allowing you guys to hold it for 2 years then it will be returned home after we Aitch slap your botty :snooty:

Mike you guys played some great golf funny thing most of the "big guns" failed to turn up for both sides...Celtic Manor (home in 2010) was sold out in 30 mins after it was announced as the venue, lucky for me i know the lad who heads up their security team, you and Walt fancy a Visit?...:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

OK well it's my turn to give bad news:
Sean and I have decided that we will not be able to afford to sail next year:sad1: Our son has decided to venture out on his own, well as much as he can living with his grandparents in WA, so that means we would have to take Sarah with us. Extra person = extra $$$$ Add to that my impending pay cut and with our wonderful budget crisis = no OT (ie fun money) for Sean.
But don't think you are getting rid of us, we are hoping to join all of you on one of the new ships in 2011, maybe by then that new money tree we planted will be in full bloom, this last trip shriveled it up. Oh and I will be posting, gotta keep up with my peeps!

Chris: I know this leaves you without your Boddington buddy, so please make sure you keep up the tradition of trying to sell the ship out of them. I'm sure Rick may help you with that. I, sir, will make sure that Sean honors your Boddi friendship and will have him drink one everynight whilst you are sailing.

Forgot to add, if anyone is interested in the SPH room let me know. I am waiting to hear from Dreams about Jeff and I switching, after that goes through I will be canceling my cruise.

:woohoo: :cool1: We love Vero Beach resort!

We booked two rooms, one for the three of us and one for my mom and Walt. We tried getting a 2 bedroom unit, but with it being Jersey Week, we were lucky to get the rooms we got. :goodvibes

Just got a call from DVC MS, they were able to put us in a 2 bedroom unit for three of the four nights we are booked for at Vero Beach. We are also waitlisted for the 4th night, but if that doesn't become available we will start off in the two oceanview deluxe rooms on Sunday night, then switch over to the 2 bedroom unit for the final three nights.........:goodvibes
