I posted a picture of mine on page 144, post #2148. It's 8" wide and about 30" long. PM me if you have any questions.

Hi again, Joanie.

Well, the activities that we have planned so far are, a Meet-and-Greet, that will be held Saturday at 3:00pm in the Promenade Lounge, just before the lifeboat drill.

Then on Sunday, a tour of some of the different catergory cabins will be held at 10:00am. That will probably begin at the Roy O. Disney suite on deck 8. You need to hurry to sign up for this. I believe the cut-off to sign up is this Friday.

We also have a Celebratory Party that we are trying to put together for Monday, between 2-3:00pm. This is a party to celebrate all of the special ocassions folks are celebrating during this cruise.

Last is the FE gift exchange. This is like a Secret Santa sort of thing. FE stands for Fish Extender, so name because they are place on the "Fish" that is outside of all of the staterooms where notes are left for the occupants. The FE is a hanging article with pockets where people place gifts.

The cut-off date to sign up for that is Monday, August 23rd, so hurry if you would like to participate in that.

Whew!!! I think that just about covers it. We are also maintaining a list of booked excursions, Palo and spa ressies, so folks can arrange to meet with other DISers who are doing those things at the same time.

Oh, and as far as the shirts go, my DH and I have already made some shirts for the 2 of us with the cruise logo on it. We will probably be wearing those on the first day.

HI,
Yep i would love to sign up for the cabin tour..there are 4 of us...

Just wanted to pass on...the Undercover Tourist app to WDW for iPhones is free today. It looks to be a pretty useful tool with wait times, daily park schedules, and GPS locating of the people in your group, car, next attraction, etc.

We have stayed there a number of times both before and after our cruise. They have nice rooms and an attached surf shop. If you are looking for the pool its a bit hard to find, but it's across the driveway from the check in. It's a few blocks from the beach, but it's an easy walk if you are interested. They also have an attached surf shop that is nice for last minute purchases (we bought snorkely gear there last year) and you get a discount if you are a guest.

My kids like the large aquarium they have by the restaurant.

All in all I would recommend.

Thank for the info..The video they have on there website kind of looks like a spring break place and it is set to porno like music:laughing:..So we were a bit concerned. When we called to book we told them that the video wasnt helping sales. We booked it off of credit card points.

I noticed you were on the OCT 2008 double dip, was it the one over Halloween? If so we were on that cruise too.;)

It's (angelabielanin) Cliff and Eva room is 6321. Thank for doing all this! Looking forward to meeting with you! I did have an idea:rolleyes1....what if everyone told you were they were staying on Friday night...it would be cool to know if anyone else is staying at the same place. Thanks again...you rock!:dance3:

We are staying @ the Residence Inn. Same place we stayed last time. Anyone else?

We're staying at AKL-KV the night before and two nights after. We've never stayed there before, so we're really excited to check it out.:banana::banana::banana:

We are staying at Pop on Friday night!!

Also I found out through our TA that we now have main dining after we were wait listed. Is this a good thing? I have read both pros and cons for main and late dining.

I've done both and actually like the second seating better. It makes the day seem longer - no rushing to clean up and get ready, especially on port days. I think the second seating felt more relaxed; the servers at first seating seemed to rush us a bit - I suppose because they had to clear the room for the next group of diners. We enjoy a cocktail or two before dinner so the later timeframe allows for that. And through most of the cruise, 8:15 is more like 7:15 for us in Minnesota - which is when we usually go our to dinner at home!

I know there are a lot of opinions on this on!:thumbsup2

Hi, Angela. I have added the info to my FE list.

Yes, I think that's a good idea. So, here goes:

HEY, EVERYONE, WOULD YOU MIND TELLING US WHERE YOU ARE STAYING FRIDAY NIGHT? THAT WAY FOLKS WHO ARE STAYING IN SIMILIAR/SAME AREA/HOTEL CAN HAVE MEET & GREET BEFORE THE CRUISE.

Now, for a volunteer to maintain that list. Angela, would you mind collecting that info?

Oh, and we will be staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. Our plans are to go to Epcot Friday. We have ADRs at Coral Reef and Teppan Edo. Haven't quite decided which to cancel yet.

Hi, Dave.

We actually tired late dining on our last cruise and DH and I both decided that we prefer the early seating better. We usually eat about 5:30-6:00pm at home. I like doing the show after dinner. I don't know. For some reason, we felt that the dinner dragged on and on for the second seating. By the time we left the dining room, it was almost 10:00. That is DH's bedtime. Just did not enjoy it at all. Never had any problems with the early seating.
