DW just asked me if this cruise was a double dip, like our one in 2008. I had to give her the bad news: its not. But, there should be 3 days at sea, meaning 3 chances for Palo brunch!

Thinking about the America's Cup sailing experience or Under 2 Flags at St. Marteen.

Hey, y'all, it's been a crazy several months, but it is time to get this cruise on the front burner! Couple of questions:

1. Is anyone in charge of the fish extender group?

2. Where is everyone staying the night before we leave port, and how much are you paying?

We're getting more and more excited!
Saratoga Springs on points.

That's why I prefer the Eastern vs. the Western Cruise, more days at sea.
I'd go for the 2 flags @ St. Marteen., I've done it before and enjoyed it.

Hi Everyone! Well, I finally decided to join in on this cruise thread and get involved with the fun activities! This is our 3rd Disney cruise and we are excitedly counting down the days. I haven't read through the whole thread so please forgive me for not knowing but, is there a fish extender gift exchange? What about some sort of trick or treating - even though we are a few days before Halloween? We haven't taken part on our last two cruises and I think my husband actually wants to do it! Whoo Hoo! We're also thinking of decorating our door and my in laws, as we are bringing them along as well.

We have a group of 12 of us going - two different families and each of us are bringing grandparents.

I can't wait to get to know you all! Only 300 more days!!! :yay::yay::yay:

Hello, GirlieGirl. Welcome Aboard. Sorry that it has taken a while for me to greet you all. But we are all caught up now. I have added you to the main cruise page. When you have a moment and would like to have your names posted, please let me know.

We are doing a FE exchange. I will be getting that together shortly. This is first cruise that I have been on around Halloween, so I don't know what is doing in the way of Trick or treating. It will be fun to find out.

Anyway, again Welcome aboard.

Haven't posted in a while so I thought I'd get caught up...welcome to all the new folks and I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of baby Isabelle!

We just booked a trip to Southern CA for the first week of June - we're renting a house with our in-laws about 2 miles from Disneyland - it has a pool, so Lily is extra excited (as am I). I asked her if she thinks she will want to go to DL or just hang out at the house - right now she says she just wants to swim in the pool, but I'm thinking her tune will change the closer we get. :)

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas - this holiday season sure went by extra-quick!!!!!

Jen, sorry that you won't be able to make this cruise. Hopefully we will meet on another cruise. You will enjoy WDW.

Let me know exactly when in June you will be going to Disneyland. My DH and I were given annual passes for Disneyland, so we might be able to meet then.

Take care.

My guess is that this ship is booking fast as it's the first eastern caribbean cruise since the spring as the Magic will be in Europe all summer, and it's the second week post dry dock.

Jan

That's why we booked this cruise. We were told not to go on the one right after drydock because they are usually still finishing up with minor things.

Hi, Cindy. I am finally up to speed here. I will intially be doing the FE exchange, and then depending on the size, may break it up a bit.

We are staying at the Hyatt at the airport and paying $108.00 per night, staying 2 nights.

Boy, am I getting more excited, too.

I wasnt sure if I am on the list for the fish eschange or not. we would like to be added if we are currently not on the list. We are in cabin 6050.

Thanks also everyone for the recomendations on shore excursions.

Hello! :hippie:
I will be on this cruise along with my sister, nephew and his wife. We are leaving our husbands and kids at home! (kids are college/high school and can't take the time and our hubbies, who have cruised DCL twice, said they needed a break from Disney!) :scared1:

My nephew and his new bride got engaged just before our last cruise in Oct. '08. They married this past October so will be celebrating their first anniversary.:lovestruc

I have been on 3 DCL cruises - all eastern itineraries. Can you tell I like the eastern?:thumbsup2

Congratulations on new baby, glad to see some new cruisers...and some seasoned vets. :cool1:

We are attending the Food and Wine Festival pre-cruise (BCV) and will be at the Residence Inn the night before we sail. It will be our 3rd stay there. We all enjoy our wine and look forward to lots of adult time!!!:thumbsup2

Heading down to WDW this Saturday - staying at the GF - NOT running the marathon! :rotfl2: Hope to get to know all of you....

Hi, minniesota, Welcome Aboard to you and your crew. I'm glad that you like this itinerary, makes me feel like we made the right choice. This will be our first Eastern Caribbean cruise and are we looking forward to it?

If you would like, give me your names and I will put them on the main cruise page. I have added you there already. Look forward to getting to know you all.

forgot to tell you that we will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary on this cruise. exciting! DH - David and I (Joanie) , second dining, cat. 5 stateroom; cruise No. 7; Disney Dream maiden voyage Jan. 2011. Hope is isn't this cold next January. Burrrrr!

Hi, Joanie. I have added your info. We are going to have one great big party.

Okay, I am all caught up now. I can't believe this ship has filled up so soon. I knew that we, DIS, had a big group going so far. But to have the ship filled up already? WOW!!

Anyway, it is time to start making plans about meet-and-greets, FE, parties, excursions and what not.

So, we can start talking about where to meet and who is interested in participating in the FE exchange. I will be put together the list and we can decide on how we want do execute the exchange.

SO LET'S GET TO PLANNING.!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1::

Just returned from the frozen tundra know as WDW....Just my family's luck our trip in June 2009 - WDW is seeing record temperatures, Oct 2009 - Key West is 20 degrees cooler than normal (Western Cruise). Looking foward to trying the Eastern side of the Caribean (DH is retired Navy so he's visited most of the Islands and just smiles when I ask how are they).

Well hope 2010 is great for all and look foward to seeing all.

Hi, Carole. We are looking forward to the Eastern Caribbean cruise as well. I haven't been to the Caribbean at all, so it will all be new to me. Hopefully, we will have some pleasant weather when we set sail.

Hope 2010 is great for you as well.
