So did we decide if we are doing trick or treating for the kids? Also, do we have any meets planned onboard for disboard people? I don't wanna miss anything.

I don't think we decided on trick or treating as a group. I know I will not be participating though. Sorry! I all ready went way over my budget for the FE gifts. And I don't think I can get anything else in my luggage!
Of course ya'll are more than welcome to do Trick or Treating. Don't let me stop ya!

I would like to do a meet onboard. I have never done this. It usually happens on day one before we sail away. What time and place? Let's finalize this people!!!

Hi. Is is too late to get in on the FE exchange? I just read about this and it sounds like lots of fun! Our family would love to join!

A little about us: We have 3 kids - DS(17), DD(15) and DS (6). This will be our 5th DCL cruise but we have not been on one since 2005. We've been to DisneyWorld more times than I could count.

We booked this cruise about 18 months ago. I'm normally a big planner but I'm really behind this time and have spent the last few days trying to catch up!

Hi LoriV and welcome aboard. The FE cutoff date was Sept 1st. Maybe a new group can be started for those signing up after the 1st?

LoriV are you still around? I know you JUST missed the FE cutoff list but just wanted to see if you still wanted to participate. I had thought there were 35 cabins and there is only 34 so I have one extra gift. Perhaps others do as well. I can create a list just for you of people who want to particiapte with you. Let me know ASAP.

Well Greensburg isnt too far away!

We have second dining. Wanted Palo brunch and had it all set for 10:30....then....the infamous DCL website glitch struck and you all know what that means. Not sure if I'll try onboard or not. We were only second on the wait list last year on the Wonder and still didn't get in.

This has nothing to do with your words I just quoted. I just have a confession to make. I am soooo excited to meet you! I have cherished your designs for years and I'm thrilled I can say 'thank you' in person!!! And maybe put a little extra in your FE for all your help through the years!

I was thinking either Waves or Currents would be a good place to meet on embarkation day. Anyone else have any ideas?

Let's say D Lounge at 3:30pm. Does that work for everyone? That way of anyone wanted to see INDY1919A4's stateroom at 3pm they could, and then we can still have a few minutes to meet before the lifeboat drill at 4:00pm. And now that we don't have to go back to our rooms for the life vests, we can just leave straight from the meet and go to our muster stations...

Let me know if this works...

Order some Pizzas and mickey bars and then hand them out. They do not carry as well as a mini-snickers candy bar.. But it makes a heck of an impression on the trick or treater. (hands full of french fries on the other hand do not work as well for some reason )

Forgot to add...
I don't think we are interested in participating in the onboard trick or treating either. We have SO much stuff and the FE gifts already have their own bag.
We are going to MNSSHP after the cruise and we'll get plenty of ToTing there.

I have a question about our new cabins. I was thinking I read somewhere on this thread that someone had the same cabins (10646 and 10644) and "dumped" them because the verandas are so small? Maybe I'm just imagining it.
We no longer have the virtual portholes so I have to withdraw the offer to come to our cabin to see the portholes. Now we have real live verandas! <non banana dance>

Well I don't know about you guys, but it is sounding like we might be needing to plan a pre-cruise meet to watch the Magic sail away for all of us that are gonna be around.

We're planning on going to Rusty's, Fishlips or Grills, so if we pick one that is the one we will show up at for a pre-cruise meet. Grills has an outdoor bar area, the web cam is at Fishlips I think, so that should have a good view.
