10/23/11 - Disney Dream

Did you guys notice that the 1-bedroom suite opened up on the cruise?? Oh how I wish I could get that. I'm praying that it'll be still available at cruising time so maybe I can squeeze DH into upgrading at the port:cool1:

----> So how much does the 1 bedroom suite go for if one was to book it now???

We're dressing up on Pirates Night :). They did have trick or treating on this same cruise in 2009 and also the characters were in Halloween costumes. But no party.

If we were to upgrade our cabin, it would be $5263 (which includes DCL transfers for one way). That's $2900 more than what we paid (we are booked in an 8B). But it's sure nice to Dream:lmao:

A 1 bedroom suite would be nice, but with only 4 days to explore this new ship I wouldn't have enough time to appreciate the suite, I'll keep my aft balcony.

That's what DH says. And of course when we book the Fantasy for 2013, we definitely won't be considering a suite because paying for an inside cabin for the 4 of us will already cost us an arm and a leg and a kidney and two spleens:lmao:

When I book the Fantasy I'll book an inside too, I want to check out the virtual port hole:thumbsup2

so is the fantasy so expensive because the cruises are longer? I feel like I'm missing something.

I'm so excited to check in tomorrow morning!

I'm excited to check in too! Can't wait!:cool1: And yes, the Fantasy is more expensive because it is longer and because it's a new ship. So it'll definitely be an inside for us when we cruise in 2013, especially since we're hoping to add another little one to the family next year making us a family of 5:)

I'm all checked in. I did get a Palo reseration (we already had Remy through one of the folks we're traveling with). I also got an early morning couples massage on the Nassau Day. Since I think we're just going to be doing a self guided walking tour on Nassau, that should work out.

Also, I didn't have my passports when I checked in...does anyone know if I can go back and add them in? I have them, they're just not with me!

Yes you will be able to add them in later. I didn't have my younger daughter's number yet and I was still able to do the check in. Then when I did have it, I just clicked on the information tab again and then selected her name.

Thanks!!

I was able to book Palo for a late dinner. The only reservation for Remy was on the 1st night and I wasn't sure if I should take that instead of the Palo dinner later in the cruise? Opinions from the experts?
I also booked a cabana couples massage on Castaway Cay. Is that a mistake? It sounded relaxing (which is the theme for this cruise) but I don't want to miss out on fun. (We are cruising with the kids in June and that's a double dip so this isn't our only chance on Castaway Cay!)
