I know many of you guys have been booked for many, many months, but I FINALLY booked our cruise this week. It will be me, Sharon & my dh, Jeff. We are celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary on the cruise.

We were supposed to have taken a 3 night cruise with the whole family, but due to health issues, we had to cancel. We couldn't find another date that worked with the WHOLE family (4 kids), so we decided to take a longer cruise for just the two of us. (Plus cheaper costs getting down to FL).

I am so excited for this and it sure sounds like you guys are a bunch of fun. Can anyone give me the Cliff Notes version of the hundred pages of posts on this thread?

WELCOME! i'm mike aka Underdog and i'll be joined by my lovely bride of 36 years Robin aka Tart Annihilator. this will be our 7th Disney cruise.

Cliff Notes version eh? hmmm. where to begin???

not really sure of the origin of some of the events about to transpire aboard the Parley cruise..but i'll try and give you an overveiw. Hopefully some of the other cruisers will chime in with their "interpretation" of the events, because at times my memory is a little fuzzy.

Smoothie Meets (specifically Strawberry Smoothies) are a hot topic of conversation. Originally designed to take the place of "wine tasting or beer tasting" events on the ship..Strawberry Smoothie tasting events have morphed into a downright "battle of the smoothies" as chocolate and mango lovers have joined in the smoothie fest!.

The Legend of Deck 10..all started a few cruises ago when fellow female cruisers commented on the fact that you'd better be prepared if wearing a skirt and walking up the stairs from deck 9 to deck 10 because a Marilyn Monroe momment was sure to occur. Well some person (who shall remain nameless)designated deck 10 the "hot spot for "chic watching".

All passengers of the female persuasion are required to wear Red dressses for Formal night. (ala Jessica Rabbit)

Pillowfighting on Deck 10. ($10 entry fee required. see Underdog for details)
Theres a Ladies only pillowfight competition on deck 10. prizes will be awarded.

Rockin Bar D.. nothing really ever happens or has happened there. despite what you may hear.

On previous cruises the girls got together for a photo session for a "Girls of the ......(insert cruise nickname here) Cruise " calendar. Details of this event are currently in the planning stages. Proceeds from the sale of the calendar go towards rebooking future Disney cruises.
