WOW! It's amazing how much can change in a week!

Sorry for our UK friends not being able to cruise...but understand how expensive an oversees trip can become.

The Ohio B and B pics were beautiful! That's the kind of place I love to go for a weekend getaway! (Adam likes a little bit more activity...)

We are still planning to cruise, but have to wait and see what happens. If we were to get pregnant, our baby would have to be 12 weeks to cruise. That means we only have 1-2 more months before our plans may have to be changed. Guess we'll see what happens...

I enjoyed the Royal Pacific photos as well. I'm taking Adam down Oct. 22-24 for Halloween Horror Nights as his birthday present. We went every year for 4 years when we lived in Florida. We haven't been since 2007, we we are both excited! Our 64 and 69 year old "second parents" are also coming, so it should be really fun (and interesting)! They'll be staying a full week, but we just can't miss that much work/Adam's school right now...

Hope everyone has a great week! Mine is super crazy busy until lunch on Friday, then I still have several "work" things to do over the weekend. Will do my best to keep up with you all!

Hey everyone,
Since this was my first week of my new class and the homework was easy I had time to sit and do some planning. I went to the Raddison site and you can book for Oct 2011 online. They had a prepay room for $96.75 per night. Sean and I are still trying to decide whether or not we will be staying there the night before as we want to do the food and wine fest that day.

thats pretty tempting. I know we're staying there for sure on the friday nite before the cruise.:wizard:
as i recall, we paid around $100 back in 2007 when we stayed there.

We definitely want to stay there next Oct. I just checked out the prices for us and because we are with 5 our price is $207 :headache: It would be cheaper for us to book 2 rooms at that price but the kids are too young to be in a room on there own.

they won't put a roll away in the regular rooms? I noticed the petite said you can't but maybe you can do that.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone.:wizard:

Please bear with me as i'm sure to ask lots of questions.:upsidedow

Welcome! My name is Becky, I'm traveling with my DH Sean. We've traveled with DCL a few times, this is our first Eastern. Jump in and ask away with questions. We can get a little talkative as some of us have traveled with each other a few times. We don't bite though, I promise.

We may stay Thursday night at WDW, then go to EPCOT on Friday and head to the port Friday night after visiting with Miss Heather. That way we are an hour closer on Saturday :cool1:

Welcome aboard! :)I'm Char and my dh is Nate and we are going with 3 of our kids. We just went on our first cruise ever this Jan and now we are hooked... so beware it's very addicting:thumbsup2

So excited!! I just booked the Hyatt off Hotwire for $76:woohoo: I kept waiting for the price to go down but we are leaving in 13 DAYS:banana: and I thought why am I waiting to save $20 and just went for it!!
So Heather the big count down must be on for you... 7 days is it?

Just caught the Magic leaving port 5 minutes ago on the Radisson webcam to head to Freeport for drydock this week. My calculations tell me we will all be happily sailing on her 55 weeks from right now! Woo hoo!

:cool1:

Updated 7:36EDT: She just passed the Port Canaveral-Jetty Park Cam [at the Cape Caribe Resort at the Port] all lit up for the night. Beautiful!

13 days!:yay: we've been toying with going to Niagra Falls that weekend. closest to Disney we'll get for a little while i guess.:upsidedow

we had a 4 day Wonder planned later this year till someone screwed that up and had heart surgery.:guilty::rolleyes1:mad:

Welcome Ms. Frothmeyer! Cruising is addictive for sure. This will be our third Magic cruise and fifth cruise overall...since 2005! We bailed on cruising this year and spend 9 days at WDW. We loved it (as always), but are ready to get back to the sea asap!

As for pre-cruise lodging, we will either stay at the Radisson or possibly Animal Kingdom Lodge. We've done both pre-cruise before and both have merits. Guess it depends on how many of us end up going and how we decide we want to handle transportation...

On a happy/hopeful note, Adam and I need to get pregnant this month or next month to be able to make this cruise, so send lots of good vibes, pixie dust, prayers, etc. please! We want to start our family bad, but would love to make this cruise our baby's first vacation as well!

I think heart surgery is a perfectly great reason to cancel a cruise! (Without having it, there might not have been one or it may have been dangerous.)

Hope everyone has a great week!

Welcome. I am also cruising with my best friend but it is our two families travelling and cruising together :thumbsup2

This is our 3rd Disney Cruise but our first 7-day and our first aboard the Magic - really looking forward to it :)

As far as pre-cruise, we are staying at WDW for 7 days before the cruise - we are hoping to get into the Beach Club villas but, if not, we will be going back to our favourite resort, Wilderness Lodge villas :thumbsup2

Thanks for the welcome everyone.:yay:
I've been browsing different cruise trip reports and the DCL Picture of the Day threads.:wizard:

In my haste i neglected to mention my name. I'm Misty. Who do i contact to get my name listed on the first page cast of "who's going"?
