One week from today we're heading to WDW for our pre-cruise days.

tx... we're also doing Palo first night, since it's my husband's birthday.

Excursions: Atlantis Aquaventure (did this a year and a half ago and enjoyed it a lot, but will be skipping the long "tour" part this time) and jetskis on CC.

Hi everybody!

I'll be spending the pre-cruise Wednesday park-hopping...got a room at the All-Star Movies (Disney value resort), and I'm going to bringing a ton of pins to trade, both at the parks and the cruise!

On Thursday, my friend Su flies in to Orlando, and will be joining me on this Wonder-ful excursion! It's my fourth cruise and her very first. Today I ordered some blank sheets of magnet to decorate for our cabin door. We're unbelievably excited! Really hoping to meet some of you on the ship. Here's us:

The only real drag is that my flight back to L.A. isn't until 7 p.m. I'm thinking about getting a room at one of the airport hotels just to have somewhere to relax for eight or nine hours!

Hi Leila! My favorite character is Tick-Tock, the crocodile from Peter Pan. But I'm happy to save that Figment one for you and trade it for anything you have.

Are we all meeting somewhere on the Wonder? On my last cruise, in February, a bunch of us were supposed to meet, but I was the only one who showed up! Never did connect with anybody...

So one week from today we should all be happily boarded on the Wonder!!!
Which is a good thing because today Thursday October 15th in Connecticut, it's SNOWING!!! Since about 10am, not really sticking but is definitely building a little.

My FE gifts are almost done, just need to do the final touches and they are good to go!

We get in Wed night at MCO and are staying at the Hyatt, anyone else?

We are too! What time do you get in? Our flight gets in at 7:40. Maybe we should try to meet up for drinks/snacks/whatever? I'm not sure, is there a restaurant or something in the Hyatt? I don't imagine they have a pool, there in the airport...

I just finished our fish extender! We'll see how it holds up...I don't sew and ended up using the adhesive bonding-type tape. Wish us luck!

Hyatt MCO does have a heated outdoor pool, which is very nice. They also have a few nice restaurants and also a bar/lounge with light meals.

I think they are meeting the first day at 2pm by the Mickey Pool, not to worry, If we don't meet up there, I am sure we will meet. I am such a people person and trust me, if you have pins on, we will probably meet - lol. I will be looking for pin trading events too

We don't get in till around 8:30 I think. I checked the hyatt website and there is a bar/lounge area with tv's that's open pretty late. We could PM our cell's to each other and touch base when we land. Otherwise what are your plans in the morning? We are renting a car and driving to the port, planning on leaving around 8:30 to get the car since we have to take shuttle to Hertz.

I have a 7 year old daughter as well although she will turn 8 on the cruise, she's not sure yet whether she wants to stay in the Oceaneers Club or try and get bumped up to the Lab. Maybe meeting your daughter will help her with her decision!

Well, we didn't meet any of you in person, but you still made our cruise with the FE exchange. Thank you so much Minniemousememories for organizing this. What a blast. We went to the Mickey pool at 2 but didn't know who to look for. Oh well, we'll just have to do it again! Our first cruise was awesome (except for the bumpy ride out of Florida). Thanks again!

We had a great WENT BY SO FAST cruise! The fish extenders were fun, thank you all for participating! I too was at the Mickey Pool at 2:00 and as promised had a drink in my hand! I did walk around and ask people if they were from the disboards meet... You should have seen some of the looks and responses that I received! LOL. There's always next time!

We poked our heads out there briefly but didn't see anyone.

If you saw Snow White and Prince Charming in the adult costume contest, that was my husband and me. The Jetsons (costumes) were Cinderella&Dopey(Disboards name).

Sorry I didn't get to meet any of you, but the FE exchange was awesome. Thank you to everyone for the great gifts. DS5 loved coming back to the room and getting "fish mail". It was a fun cruise, but 3 nights is definitely not long enough!!

We had an absolutely fabulous time as well. The FE were great fun, the kids really enjoyed it.
We too went to the Mickey pool but I was a little late probably around 2:15. My 8 year old and I made a big circle but it was hard to tell who was who.
Maybe next time!
We dummy booked the 5 day double dip at Castaway Cay for June 27th but will probably move it when the Dream itinerary comes out.
