Yeah! We're going at 8 PM on Thursday night, which is DH's birthday. Also booked excursions.

We are going at 7:30 on Thursday night so we will see you there!! We booked excursions also. We are going to take the segway tour of Nassau.It sounds pretty cool and we have done both tours at the world.

We're doing Atlantis Aquaventure, which is too expensive, but DH enjoys Atlantis so much that I'm making it his birthday gift. Also probably jet ski tour on Castaway Cay.

Hi there! I see you have a 9 year old son and an 8 year old daughter. Me too! My son will be 9 1/2 in October and my daughter will actually turn 8 on the cruise!

I do!! My kids were both born in December (of 99 and 00), so they'll both be approaching their next birthdays when we're onboard. They're going into 4th and 3rd grades. I'm excited that they're technically in the same age group for the Oceaneer's Lab. Being new to it all, that will help their peace of mind. Mine too! I'm a single mom and we're traveling alone on this cruise. We've done Disney, just the 3 of us, before, but this last trip in March, my boyfriend went along. It was a fantastic trip, but he unfortunately can't take the time from work for this trip. Not to mention, he is a college football fanatic and that is a huge weekend for games. I'd, of course, always choose Disney or the Bahamas over something like that, but apparently TN vs. AL is more important to him. LOL!


I hope we cross paths on the cruise!!

GIFT EXCHANGE
HOW IT WORKS:
-Participants will get small gift for each cabin signed up (not including your own cabin).
-As we get closer to the departure date, PM minniemousememories your cabin room number/s and indicate which of those cabins will be giving gifts. (NOTE: if a group has more than one cabin, only required to give 1 gift for the entire group. However, if you want to give gifts for each cabin, please let minniemousememories know, so I can assign dates for gift distribution accordingly.)
-minniemousememories will write up a gift exchange list to distribute about a week prior to departure or at our DISMeet (are we having one?) with a list of cabins to deliver gifts to, as well as your assigned day to deliver the gifts. So that way, each day a gift or two will be waiting at your door.
-Fish extenders not required, though if you want to make/bring one, by all means do! Many people have used a gift bag to hang outside the door and their fish.

If you want to sign up, let me know so that we can get a better idea on how many will be participating and how many gifts we will need to get together. It's so fun to sprinkle and be sprinkled with a little extra magic throughout the cruise!

Booked Palo first night at 8:30 for my daughter's birthday celebration dinner and my fishing trip on CC! It's been a long wait. lol

We've paid our last payment, bought our airline tickets and booked Palo for Friday night at 7:30. I think we are going to stay on the ship in Nassau. We did the Atlantis AquaAdventure in February and while it was great, it's expensive. February was on my dad's dime for my 40th birthday! Since we've only got 3 days we thought we'd maximize our time on the ship. However, perhaps a trip to Senor Frogs!

Now I am trying to decide on transportation. It's cheaper for us to take a private van by about $50, but if we do Disney transportation we can do the online check in on the way back. Might be worth it don't you think?

Anyone else with kids 6, 8 or 9?

I have a 7-year-old girl who will be an "only child" on this cruise, so I'm glad to hear about other girls her age!! I'm hoping she makes a friend or two...that will make her experience so much more enjoyable!

Anyone else have this problem? I booked Palo on my 90-day mark for 2 people. I was looking today and it's gone! I called DCL and they said they can't see where it was ever booked. They transferred me to GS and he told me the same thing. He told me he would speak to someone at Palo and see if they could get me in. Calls me back a few minutes ago and no luck! I am so angry right now. I have been to Palo before but I am traveling with a friend who never has and I really want her to experience it. Just wondering if anyone else booked a reservation that is now mysteriously missing.

I just checked mine and it's still there! Is Palo completely booked already? Hopefully you can get something onboard.
