Called today and got the Florida Resident rate! Saved $2090.80! I had to change us from a 4A on deck 10 to a 4D on deck 6, but for that amount of money, who cares??

On our cruise there was 1 pirate party, on the pool deck in front of jumbotron..... Then fireworks followed.

Pirate night is my favorite night! I was so into it I missed the dessert bar!!

We are not missing any kind or one or two or more desert bars!

Woohoo! I'm so glad that Disney will honor the new rate on existing reservations. We were able to take advantage, too. :).

We got the cruise docs yesterday! Dd was over-the-moon when she came in from checking the mail. The luggage tags have our original stateroom number. I wonder if they will resend tags with the new number? Hmmm...maybe I should call...

Any updates on whether there will be Halloween decorations up? That would be really cool! We've never seen the ships decorated for any of the holidays.

I can't believe how fast the time is going now! I better get to work on those FEs!!!

Don't worry about the tags. Some people never receive them or forget them so the porters when you arrive have generic tags that they can write your stateroom number onto to ensure your luggage makes it to the right place.

I asked about luggage tags today, actually. She said to cross out our old room number. We can write in the new room number, but she said absolutely don't touch the barcode, as that's where all our info will be.

Note to self... No touching the barcode! Lol!

So, with all the "insider tips" out there saying that the pools are empty on embarkation day do you think they will really be less busy? Or is it like how all the guide books tell people to go to the left lines in wdw and now everyone goes left and those lines are just as long? Lol. The kids want to swim that day. I think it will be a hassle. *sigh*

my sister said the cruise docs came yesterday.
She said there was a set to me and one to her.

I just emailed her to check if my mom is listed in either hers or mine.

Just got back from business trip and my cruise docs and autograph book I made on shutterfly waiting for me!! Eeeee! Yay :-)

Frankenweenie
Cars 2
Muppets

My last 3 cruises I have arrived on the ship at just after 1 and found that the pools and the areas around it are PACKED with people. Now this may be because I have been traveling at Peak Travel Season (which we won't be this time) or because more and more people are reading the "inside tips".

The fact of the matter is, if you intend to arrive early at the port and be amongst the first to board the ship, there is little else to do on the ship while waiting for your room to become available at about 1 30. The kids clubs are open for registration and perhaps a walk through but they do not fully open for the kids to be left there until about 6 PM. You may be able to start the Midship Detective Agency Game (AWESOME!!!!!) or just explore the ship.

I say let the kids wear their suits as part of or under their regular clothes and if it looks good at the pool or AQUADUCK!!!!!! go for it. Better to be prepared and ready then disappointed because you can't get to your luggage right away.

Ok..... So long shot and crazy but I just submitted an application for the Disney Moms Panel 2013. Who knows? Worth a shot!

We got our documents today!!! I am getting so excited! I'm driving my husband crazy talking about fish extenders and pirate costumes and matching t-shirts for the parks before we board the ship. Our kids have no clue either so he's the only one I can talk to about it.

Christopher, I'll send you an email with our stateroom number since we finally know where we'll be.

Got ours today, too! Was hoping for a surprise, and our room number, but it is blank. I know its too soon for them to assign it, but we were hoping anyway.

Fun!! So, what does it entail? Are there any perks?

Frankenweenie
Cars 2
Muppets
People Like Us
Odd Life of Timothy Green
Avengers
Brave - 3D
Nemo - 3D

of those, the only ones i've seen are cars 2 and brave - so lots of possibilities for me.

i guess first on my list will be Avengers and Muppets. The rest of my family saw them, but for some reason i couldn't go with them.

has anyone seen the others?
