So there is a family pirate party prior to the one at 9:45? What time would the fireworks be? I am trying (and failing!!!) to come up with good times to put ds in the nursery. But he will love a pirate party!!! (Although maybe not the fireworks. He didn't like those on 4th of July.) I am hoping if we do not book a lot in the nursery that if they have times when they are not full we could drop off ds? Anyone have any idea on this? It is hard to book since we have never been on a cruise and we don't know what he would enjoy. Also, kids club is solely drop in, right?

On our cruise there was 1 pirate party, on the pool deck in front of jumbotron..... Then fireworks followed.

Pirate night is my favorite night! I was so into it I missed the dessert bar!!

Part of the disney brainwashing scheme :)
There's actually a place somewhere on the boards with a key to the abbreviations, but I can't look for it on my iPhone
Actually I'm not sure what DH is - Dear husband? Darling husband? Disney husband?
Or alternatively, darn husband and all the stronger versions of darn :)

Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

Lol@ darn husband! Amen to that!! But Disney husband is cute too!

I'm having the same problem with figuring out when to schedule nursery times! I finally just went with 7:30 - 9:30 every night. I figure I can always cancel/change once we are on board and I have a better idea of what my son's nursery needs are. He definitely needs his beauty sleep, so I'm really hoping he will fall asleep in there every night AND transfer to our room with no issues.

Our docs arrived today, too! Very excited!!

Well, my husband's new passport arrived today. Not as good as cruise docs, but it's something.

I have heard similar complaints but never use a hair dryer...towel dry for me. Anyone else?

I read on another thread that the hair dryer works best if plug into the wall outlet by the desk/tv. Maybe more electrical flow :confused3

Sorry this one is so late......has been a long day for me. Hope you are enjoying a little excitement as you think about our Dream which will soon come true.....pixiedust:

Exactly 6 weeks from today, the sun rises early on the Dream as we slowly cruise at sea! For some, this will be the first day ever of not stepping foot on solid land!!! It is the perfect day for exploring all the nooks and crannies of our beautiful ship! Outta bed, sleepy head! Lets see what the Dream has in store for us!

First, its time to eat& again! ;) Maybe you're planning to pamper yourselves with a sit-down breakfast in the Royal Palace or Enchanted Garden this morning? Or maybe youd rather sit outside on Cabanas deck, looking out into vast expanse of ocean, occasionally glimpsing another ship on the horizon. :sail: The Aqua Duck is opening at early! So is the Midship Detective Agency - have you solved a mystery yet? How about watching Jack-Jacks Incredible Diaper Dash the cutest race Ive ever seen! The princesses are gathering this morning for autographs and photographs. There are usually two bingo sessions offered today are you feeling lucky? Maybe you are in the mood for a movie? Trivia contests? Spa treatments? Quite a few of us will head to the pools and hot tubs. And almost all the kids will want to spend time with their new friends in the Kids Clubs. :yay: Characters will be out and about all day, too! It's really not possible to have a moment of boredom on a Disney ship! So much to do, so much to see, so much to eat& is it lunchtime yet??? :rotfl:

The afternoon is also full of activity choices! How about a round of Goofy Golf? Have you ever wondered how to make towel animals? Well, nows your chance! :goodvibes Have you ever raced a car that your family made out of vegetables? How about a cooking class? There are also several Family Craft sessions! More trivia games. The information session about DVC will give you a chance to win a raffle!!! Wine tasting for the adults! Another stop at Eye Scream. :magnify: Maybe we'd better do a few laps around Deck 4 to burn off all those extra calories weve been indulging in& or better yet - take a nap on one of those comfy lounge chairs on Deck 4 instead! :thumbsup2

The last full day aboard the ship also means we need to begin preparations for our dreaded departure. First on the list is stopping by guest services to charge tips to our cabin so we can put tip vouchers in the little tip envelopes that were left on our bed last night. Well be sure to leave our cabin hosts tip envelope on the bed before we head to dinner sort of a reversal of roles since he/she is the one who has been leaving us little surprises there each night. :goodvibes (Well hand our other three tip envelopes out at the end of dinner.) We also need to pack a most unpleasant task since we have now decided that we never want to leave the ship ever! Suitcases need to be outside our cabin door (ironically pretty much in the same spots we found them just three short afternoons ago!) by 10:30pm so they can be whisked away and waiting for us in customs in the port terminal tomorrow morning. Dont forget to set out a full set of clothes for the trip home though, including shoes! DCL crew have lots and lots of stories about people disembarking in their pjs! :scared1:

A gorgeous orange sunset comes all too soon, but there is still plenty to do as we try to fit in every last moment of this magical vacation! Theres a dance party, another game show, and karaoke just to name a few. It will be difficult to narrow down which photographs to purchase from Shutters they reflections of treasured memories, captured and frozen forever! Its time for one last souvenir shopping spree in the gift shops! Oh - and don't forget that the Captain will be signing autographs tonight in Whitecaps!

Main diners are headed to the last restaurant in their rotation, now with their table number ingrained in their memory. No need, though, as your server recognizes you as you approach the entrance and happily escorts you to your table. Some will exchange email addresses with tablemates, planning to keep in touch. Well say our goodbyes to our new friends and servers, but we will see most of them again in the morning during our quick sit-down breakfast before having to leave the ship. Late diners are enjoying tonights stage show, Disneys Believe! It is a sweet, well-performed, sentimental Disney story.

Eventually, those with young children will have to retrieve them from the Kids Clubs one final time. Wouldn't it be great to have those wonderful Counselors at home with us!? Then, we all head to the atrium for a final farewell from all the characters at 10:15pm. They have gathered together in the atrium for a little goodbye show, and we really do hope to see them again real soon!!!!

We head back to our cabins and peek in our FEs one last time before unhooking them from our fish/starfish/seahorse. We check out our last towel animal. We set an all-too-early wake-up call. And then we snuggle into bed one final time, a little bit sad :sad:that our cruise is coming to an end. And finally, after a very full day, the gentle rocking motion lulls us to sleep one... last... time.......

Awesome! Thank you!

Pirate night is my favorite night! I was so into it I missed the dessert bar!!

so do you think i should cancel my palo dinner reservation and go to the MDR for pirate night instead? i was actually thinking of doing that.

Our docs arrived today, too! Very excited!!

cruise docs? i thought they don't send them anymore..
oh oh...i better go finish my online check in.....i wonder if the fact that i didn't finish it will delay my docs.... hmmmm....

Only you can decide on the Palo v. pirate night experiences. Is there any way you could do both? Not sure what dining time you have, we have early, so we might do MDR with kids, but not eat, then go to palo. We are happy to miss the pirate party - sounds chaotic to me, as pirate party's should be!

Regarding the docs - I'm probably in same boat as you. I didn't input our passport info since I didn't have my husband's. I'll do it today!

I didn't put in passport info, but did receive my docs, and luggage tags. My in-laws, however, have not gotten theirs yet.

Got mine today.

Called today and got the Florida Resident rate! Saved $2090.80! I had to change us from a 4A on deck 10 to a 4D on deck 6, but for that amount of money, who cares??
