Welcome aboard pls5286, and congrats! How exciting to plan a Disney wedding. I have 3 daughters so I keep telling myself that odds are pretty good at least one of them will have disney wedding.
Michelle, I thought you would want to know that Laura had emergency surgery today. She had to have her appendix out...everything went fine.
I haven't been on much lately cuz I've been busy planning mine and Ashley's trip to New York for her 16th birthday...once that's done hopefully I'll have time to check in here more often.

Hey Andrea---thanks for letting me know! I sent my well wishes on FB to her...texted you yesterday to ask how she was doing but I must have been texting your car or stroller where your phone is most of the time...
Are you and Ash actually going in a few weeks on her bday? Stop in Ohio on ur way home..LOL Well I will chat later nothing new here just all this snow stinks! I am sooooo ready for spring!! Have a wonderful , Magical, and Dream filled day everyone!

Good morning all...update on Laura, she's home from the hospital and doing good. For those of you that don't know, Laura is my sister in law, thegreatcornholeo(my brother came up with that screen name). She is going on the cruise with us, got them hooked last year when they came with us on the Magic.
Michelle, as you figured out by now, I just don't have that loving bond with my cell phone that teenagers these days have, oh and YOU! Now I can't find my earpeace, so I can't talk on it while driving, which is pretty much what I do all day.
Ashley's b-day is the 9th, but spring break for the kids this year is the last two weeks of March, so I'm going to wait and take her over spring break so she doesn't miss any school. We will be taking a nonstop from SFO to JFK, so no stopping in O-HI-O for us

Andrea---glad Laura is doing well. I have to have that loving bond with my cell phone cause we have NO home phone...so yes it's attached to my butt...LOL I knew when Ashley's bday was, got my card ready for the mail. Working on something cute for her. Well I think it's cute but ya know teenagers, not sure she will...LOL

Our plans are in the early stages, but we are SOOOOO excited. I just wish we had details. We know we will have an onboard Secret deck wedding. Kids will be stashed in one cabin (an inside cabin, with my son in charge, he will be 15 not long after we get back) and we will be across the hall in a verandah. This will be my DF and DS12 first time seeing the ocean. I am excited about that to say the least. T

2011 can't get here fast enough!!!!!!

Thanks Andrea for all the updates. Back at work and all is well... Technology these days. Anyway, I can't wait to start planning. I wish the cruise was this year.

Did everyone see the sneak peak photos of the Dream being built? and the stack floating in the water....it was sooo cool!!

I wish it was Oct 2011 already! ok maybe Sept then we would be just a few days away! Well off to bed...ttfn

Right now, it is just us. This is not a first wedding for either of us. We are going to be sending out invitations to immeditate family once we get details from Disney on where things will be happening on deck for the Dream. We don't want to keep changing things. At most it will be my parents, his parents and we each have one sister.

OK I am exhausted. Back from a weekend with my girls. Sydney(DD-9) had Dance convention...for those of you that don't know that's where Syd attends classes for 2 packed days with famous Choreographers for LA. She is exhausted! We go spend the weekend and shop till ya drop! It was fun but I had a bad sleep Sat night and the muscles in my shoulder /neck area are killing me. That's what happens when you get a King bed and one of your DD's cling to you all night long....LOL Man I could use a Spa massage on the Dream right now...=)

OK, I haven't been on in a while, so I thought I would pop in and say HI. Things have been busy around here, Ashley (my oldest DD) turned 16 and instead of having a big party her and I are going to New York to see a show on broadway, so I've been busy planning that. Soccer for her high school has started back up, so we've been chasing her around watching her games, and my youngest DD, Bailey (5), has started playing softball.
We also booked this years Disney vacation...we are going to DL for 5 days in October the same week we will be going on the cruise/s next year. So I've been on the DL boards (don't yell at me Michelle!).
Any new plans for your wedding Patty? I can't wait till it gets closer so we can hear about the details...OK, that's not the ONLY reason I can't wait till it gets closer!

Andrea---I wouldn't yell at you, not yet anyhow!! I figured you will be on here after DL trip! Tell Ashley I didn't forget to send her b-day card and little something I am making but it has been crazy...I will send it before her next bday

Patty I am so excited to enjoy your planning! Wish we could renew our vows onboard, owell maybe someday!

Well I am off to work and sick AGAIN! I swear I have had my share of sickness this yr!

Hey Michelle...how did your surgery go? I hope you are recovering nicely and hopfully someone "did Easter for you". I wanted to check in and see how it went but one of my good friends had her baby that morning (April 1st) and then I got busy with Easter (I know, poor excuse). Anyway, I hope everything went well.

Thanks for thinking of me Andrea! I am ready for our cruise. I hope we get more people joining us within the next 6 months! I am so excited about the Dream, ok I am excited about any Disney cruise!! I am so happy to say I will be visiting Mickey in Dec. for my bday!! It might only be for a couple days but I get a bit oh Disney before the Dream! Anything new with anyone??? TTFN
