I'm back, I am sailing with my mom and DS Christian 5 years old!
Wow it really is a big group!
Kathy

Thanks for the info kathy! When did you cruise in January? Certainly there is someone on this cruise that went when we went......magic january 12?????????

We were January 19th along with MickeyMagic and her DD. It seems a lot longer than 8 months.

Oh my gosh, scduckman; it's only been 8 months since our cruise? And to think you've been to WDW since then, and we've been to WDW and Disneyland since then and we're all going on another DCL cruise in a month. It sure sounds like we're living the high life, doesn't it?

It's been a lot of fun in the past 8 months. But after this cruise our next one isn't until March 2004 when we do the Western hopefully. We're guessing when DD will have spring break. We won't know for sure until probably April of 2003 but we went ahead and booked now.

Since I have my docs, it must be time to start my packing list!!

I'm wondering how 'fancy' other 10-17-02 cruisers are planning to dress for dinner at Triton's. I'm debating between a couple dresses but neither one is terribly fancy. I've read that the 3-day cruise is more casual, but I still plan to dress up to some extent for Triton's. What's everyone else planning?

scduckman

Yeah, it will be tough to get back to reality! I did buy a lottery ticket today, so there's a minute chance I can continue to support my newly-found travel habbit!

Mickey Magic, It is a lot more casual. However for those ever happy to take a family photo folks... there were some pretty decked out families on board!
As long as you comfortable :) On our Sept. Cruise, Phyliss (Nat's mom) and I kept joking about our "Dinner shoes" Just the right height to walk in and look all dolled up. But definately Shoes for Sitting only! 30 minutes after dinner we were scrambling for the sneaker comfort zone:)

SCDuckman.... You're really going to look like that Donald duck after this cruise! You should price out your presently booked cruise with what they are offering while we are sailing! In September they were giving some great rates if you booked while on board! I'm looking to book a Western as well! But 2004
my oldest son graduates H.S. so I'll probably try for late spring this year.
Gosh I am so psyched!
Kathy

TinkerKat, we'll definitely check out what they're offering. We wanted to go ahead and book now to grab one of the secret porthole rooms. The price has jumped $300 in six weeks so I'm curious as to what they'll offer onboard.

MickeyMagic, you'll have to wait a few days for scminnie's response on Triton's. She's out of town this week so it's DD and myself for 5 days.

I just read that Disney has brought back EE. Also, the longer hours and nightly entertainment for MK have been extended into October while we are there. This is going to be a great trip!!!

Mickey Magic, Do tell! What extended hours are they offering?
For any fellow cruisers staying in town after the Cruise... I was pleasantly surprised when I called Guest services to inquire about tickets for the beloved and always sold out "Mickey's not so scarey Halloween party!" And was able to order them. As of
Tuesday they were still available. I go Sunday night the 20th.

Thanks Vinson........and Welcome!!!! Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Who else has reservations at Comfort Suite or Atlantis? I'm starting to second-guess my decision to spend the day at Atlantis. A relaxing day on the Wonder doesn't sound like a bad idea, either. And I could use the money saved from my CS reservation for a spa treatment.

I have another post, asking for opinions on Atlantis versus staying on the Wonder. Hopefully, I'll be able to make the right decision for me after hearing advice from others.
