10/15/2011 - Taking the West by Magic!

Great! You rock! I'm so excited...my kids have to know something is up. Who is the other family that is keeping it a secret? Tell me how to keep my mouth shut and my smiles to a minimum????

I am trying to surprise my kids but find I will probably not make it. I have now planned to tell them next weekend so I have at least two weeks to prepare them and discuss what will happen. Plus I just can't stand not sharing it with them.

My current plan is to 'borrow' the scavenger hunt idea. At the end I plan to have a Disney Cruise scrapbook to be filled in. Of course the plan and date are always subject to change

I am really looking forward to all the kids meeting. Here is a brief bio on mine:

Joe: 12 (almost 13). Into Legos, Starwars, Lego Universe, Minecrafter, Heroscape and lots of online games that we argue about. He's a bit bookish with an appetite for details and information. Extroverted and loves brainy games.

Maggie: 11. Loves to sing and act. Is very caring and will always find and help out any little ones. She is a natural babysitter. Loves all animals and wants a pet in the worst way (dad does not). Loves playmobil and legos.

Katie: 8. Loves to have fun. Quite outgoing and just a little too independant for her age. She will be very comfortable in the kids clubs even if she doesn't know anyone. Which is great and bad at the same time.

Can't wait to know more about the other kids.

Put us down for 6 pom poms--3 red, 3 black if still available. The kids found out and Autumn said she would DIE if she didn't have any and others did. (And she's not even a teenager yet)

I'm looking on the Disney store sight and CAN'T decide which costume I want to get for my little Natalie. Belle, Tinkerbell or Repunzel. They are all so precious!

I was at wallmart today and saw snowwhite, cinderella and ariel costumes for 20.00, they also had crowns and a box of 6 shoes - a girl can never start to early

I am terribly jealous that I missed out on the brunch :-( but I an certain you will have a glorious time - congratulations.

I apologize for my lack of knowledge around posting and including the previous threads and such. I will get better. But heck by then we might have sailed!!!

ivet, were they toddler size? That is one reason I am going with Disney store they have infant and toddler sizes. Plus, they're $29 so not much a price difference. I just can't decide- sh'ed look cute in any of them!

I bet she would I didn't get a chance to check the sizes and your right not much of a price diff. I thought the disney ones were 40.00

I got Lime Green, the standard size, I think they're 1/2", with "Taking The West By Magic!" on the front, and "Oct. 15, 2011" on the back in the Waltograph font.

You guys have been so busy! I flew out to Missouri last night, painting the condo at the lake, so haven't been on and here I have like 4 pages of posts to read!

Awesome on the Palo brunch, I'm excited, it's going to be a blast, and yep, Sonia, your reservation went back into the pool so someone could get it!

Once I get back, it'll be frantically getting the FE gifts finished, boxing them up, and then starting to stage for packing... Oh yeah!
