10/15/2011 - Taking the West by Magic!

Does anyone know if the T-Shirt place in Downtown Disney has any cruise ship designs? Totally busy with my move, so I was just going to have them made there when we get to Orlando a few days before the cruise. Thanks!!

I will be going there next week. Will check it out for you and let you know some of the designs they have.
:cool1:

We are going as well, it will be myself, DH, and our 11 year old son, 9 year old daughter, 7 year old son and 7 year old daughter. This will be our first cruise! So excited
Welcome.. We also have boys and a daughter of similiar ages.

Sounds great! Thanks for the great ideas! I've got to get it all together and I've got to stop shopping! I'm buying so much for the trip and FE that I'll be broke before we leave! lol:confused3:mad:

I hear ya!!! I keep say oh just one more thing and one more.... yeesh :scared1:

Can you please explain about adding names and the activities you've got? I have been on another blog until I found this one today. This is our second Disney cruise but the first time we've met people online prior to sailing! This thread is so long I don't have time to follow it all to catch up!

Just be glad your on this sailing :worship: the cruise before us has 229 pages - thats over 3,400 messages. :rotfl2: :scared1:

I could just see the confusion on my face if I signed on to the DISboards and saw that there were 3 pages added to the thread since I'd last checked it the previous day. :rotfl: "What the?!? What'd I miss??!!":lmao:

If we have to do 3 pages a day, a whole lot of nothing!!!!! :lmao:

(But hey, we're well on our way huh?)

Hey gang, to meet my new goal, can you please make a new post for each sentence? :rotfl2:

I could probably fill this place up with semi-useless information pretty easily, as I tend to be the Theme Park Commando-type. Although I am not as bad as I used to be, I can feel the urge to plan and research more strongly since this is a first cruise.

As an example, here is the kind of data mining that I do: :surfweb:
Sunrise, sunset and moon info

That so reminds me of Fiddler on the roof....

Well I wasn't going to sign in, just creep a bit :cool1: but not I feel I must - you know, in order to make the quota! :rotfl2:

I got my pif reminder notice from Disney on Tuesday (Aug 9). Good thing I didn't really need a reminder

Just wanted to say once again how very very very excited I am about the cruise!

Isn't it great that they remind you to pay them, after you've paid them?!

So Hans, you're an uber planner, what kinds of things have you planned for the cruise? I know you'd mentioned your excursions, but what on the boat don't you want to miss?

I'm actually really grateful you did this Onkel Hans. :rotfl: I was going to look all that info up eventually, because I love watching sunsets and wanted to catch as many as possible. Plus, I've never seen a sunrise before (crazy, I know) so I figured I'd try and catch one on the cruise.
Glad to see the sunset for Key West is a little later in the evening. There's nothing like watching one down there. They are beautiful!

I wonder what excursions you guys have booked? I'm still clueless and it's soooo close!

BTW, I'll be in WDW for a week before the cruise. And I'm considering MNSSHP for Oct. 10. :cool1:

We aren't doing any ship excursions, just diving. What are you interested in doing? When we went to Key West the first time, we did a glass bottom boat (not through Disney) and the second time went to the butterfly museum and the southernmost point. I'd say that's an easy one because it sounds like you've been there before.

Cayman and Cozumel, it depends on what you want to do, you can just to a beach day, either through DCL or on your own, or do some sightseeing. I'd say if you're going to go to ruins that are on the mainland, I'd go through Disney, just for the safety factor.

Castaway Cay, BEACH DAY!!! Maybe rent some bikes, hit Serenity Bay, keep it easy.

We're also thinking that we might do MNSSHP on the 10th, just depends on what we're doing that day. I'll keep you posted if we do. :)
