Kim we had that room on oberfest 2 and we had 2058 on #3 which we have booked for #4. Don't you just love the location.

Yesterday the boys and I went to Home Depot to get my deck staining supplies. While looking at the brushes, we noticed a display they had. A door...with Mickey on it...and the other side had Pooh....sort of a 100 Acre Woods theme to it! It would have been PERFECT for Connor's room when he was a baby...but alas, he has no more Pooh. Now we have Buzz Lightyear. Anyway, the door was really nice! Colton asked if he could have the Mickey Door for his room. I told him, Not right now. There was a place where flyers should have been, but they were out. I wasn't sure how much it was either. I tried searching on the HomeDepot website, but they don't show it. Just thought you might like to know! For those that are moving, recently moved or are building, it would finish a room perfectly!
The Hot, Hazy, Humid weather has pushed off and it is like a breath of fresh air outside! Today there is a chance of rain, but otherwise, just wonderful! ENJOY your day!

Fiona: My DS14 is getting ready to go on another road trip this summer(next week) with his friend and friend's father. They're driving north and going to Niagara Falls, then on to Toronto. They want to see the Hockey Hall of Fame. Is there any "must see's" while they are up that way? They are pretty flexible and will be there for a few days before heading to Michigan. Thanks!

Kim: Great picture in your post!!!

Take care,
Laura

I was not too sure about being in deck 2. However, the location of our cabin could not have been better. While going through the 2nd set of Panama Canal locks I kept running from our cabin up to deck 4 too many times to get a different view and photo. I am a convert!!! I loved that deck 2 cabin...

We are going to have sooo much fun on Deck 2 with everyone, we must come up with some deck games for our group..

Bye, Kim

Laura - What do they like to do? I would think a must do is to go up the CN Tower. The Hockey Hall of Fame isn't that far from the CN Tower (I think). I have to admit I've never been to the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Here's a link from the City of Toronto that has other links to things to do.

If you can tell me more what their interests are I'll let you know more sp The Jays are in town from this Friday until the 23rd if they wanted to catch a ballgame. There's no problem getting a ticket and if they do get the $9.00 tickets as the view is great from the 500 level.

:rotfl2: :rotfl:
Our new car's manufacturer just raised the prices, but as our contract was signed before that we will pay the old price, which is about €1,000 ($1210) lower :teeth:

I just checked The List: So far we have 17 staterooms on Deck 2 pirate:

Fiona: Thanks for the info! I'll talk to them this weekend to see what they want to do. I think the CN tower would be neat. I was there (back in High School) That was an eternity ago. Another question, since he's traveling out of the country, I'm sending him with his passport and letter from us (his parents) giving permission. That should be enough, right?
Thanks!

Hmmm....sounds a little bit like discrimination to me!

Laura - Passport and a letter of permission should be enough. It what my DS travelled with to the USA and he was fine.

You're always welcome to join us on deck 2, it's where the party will be happening. :Pinkbounc

Sarah and I are off to the airport for our much anticipated "girls only" trip to Sedona, Arizona.....Dad is staying home because of school and he is dogsitting Precious!! We won't be home until June 29th. Looking forward to getting away!! Toodles!!

Great news Eric, you can buy everyone a drink on deck 2 with all the money that you saved

 Fiona. How about them EXPO's, oops I mean Nationals :rotfl2: Enjoy your season and I wish the blue jays luck.

Have a great trip Mary Jo and Sarah   Mike

WOW, I didn't realize that deck 2 was the place to be. We haven't booked yet. We'll be booking onboard in Sept on the DVC member cruise. We just might have to consider deck 2. However, I don't know how many of you will want to have 2 silly girls nearby.

Just got back from our short cruise on the Wonder and stay at WDW. Gavin (our DGS - age 5) absolutely loved the Oceaneer's Club -- good thing because he was the main reason for taking this cruise. After being in the club after it opened the first night of the cruise, he was all excited and told his mom (our DD Jill): "Mommy, they're open ALL DAY tomorrow!" Wasn't sure if they did the graduation ceremony for the kids on the Wonder cruises, but they did and Jill and I had tears running down our faces when Gavin marched in with his mortar board with the Mickey ears on top. And he got to keep this as a keepsake, too. Cool!

Had a great 2 BR villa at BWV in front with a BW view. I just love that view and it is especially pretty at night with the lights from the BC and boats, etc. I was also amazed that our room was ready for us at 10:30 am after we drove over from Canaveral. Usually we have to wait until 3 or 4 pm. Saw the stunt show at MGM for the first time. It was fair. Too much repetition. I think they must change the tires on the cars after each show -- there is so much rubber burning going on. Forgot how absolutely beautiful Wishes is. Watched that 2 nights in a row. The Extra Magic Hours are good and bad. MGM was open to 1 am, MK was open to 2 am, etc. but there were still lots of people there probably because they were the only parks open. Still had lines at many rides. Parks were hot and humid. Had rain (torrential) the first night, but sun from then on. Too much actually.

I don't think they have any verandahs on Deck 2, do they? I imagine they would get pretty wet, so I guess we will also be missing out on the partying down there. We did get some magnet pranks on Deck 6 last October and since we have our suspects on that deck again next time, I imagine that we will have magnet problems again.

Welcome back Jean. Glad you had a good time.

I know that I am not on deck 2. I am either on Deck 6 or 7. I'm to tired to look were I am, but I have a navigator verenda so I know I am not on Deck 2.

Nancy

Welcome back Jean. You could have a verandah on deck 2 if you have a certification card from one of the scuba societies Nancy :rotfl2:

Amy with the bunch that are on deck 2 how could it not be a happening place.

We're on deck 6.

So it will be quite a long way for you to get where the action is :rotfl2:

Jeanne,
I'm looking forward to see the Stunt Show at MGM next year. We saw it in '02 at DL Paris and liked it very much.

No verandahs on deck 2 -- just lots of fun!

Of course if someone wants to book Walt or Roy's Suite we can move the party up there!

Hope you're having a good trip Mary Jo and Sarah!

Fiona

Ringo Starr was on GMA singing "Yellow Submarine". Maybe we could have him come on the cruise and lead us at karoke.

When Norm and I worked at the carnival on Wed night, weren't we so lucky to be directly across from the Carnival Idol stand. These people were even sober and got up and sang awful. If I heard Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway" one more time, I was going to throw water on them. Every little girl at the Carnival got up and sang it.

Off today from work. Plan is to paint the computer room. Since it is a nice cool day can have the windows open and should dry quickly.
