Thanks for the great trip report, Kim! Looking forward to the next episodes.

Hope you are feeling better, Fiona. I had vertigo for two weeks. Found out it was due to the crystals in my ear being in the wrong place. The ENT manipulated my head to get the crystals to move back to the right place. He told me I would feel woozy or drunk for about a week after the manipulation, and he was right. I was staggering around and wasn't even drinking! But at least the world wasn't spinning around me.

Cured now and glad it happened over the last couple of weeks because we are leaving for a Wonder cruise this week with our DD, DGS & DS. It will be short cruise but at least it will tide us over until October '06 when we will be sailing on the Magic with all our friends. We are going to WDW after the cruise and are staying at BWV with a "guaranteed boardwalk view". I was surprised and delighted to get that view booking with DVC only 7 months ahead. We will really enjoy sitting on our balconies and looking down on the Boardwalk and across the water to the Yacht Club/Beach Club. It's going to be great fun having our grandson in the clubs on the cruise and seeing the wonder of WDW thru his eyes again.

We have "LURKERS".....Everyone say HI to Michelle & son Michael :sunny: ...We had great fun with them on our Panama cruise and they are thinking of joining us on our '06 trip.....Oh ! They were with us on our 'mystery cruise'...
:wave2:

Kim. thanks for the continued report! Can't wait to read the rest!

Fiona...get better soon! An ear infection is NO fun! :wizard: Pixie dust for a speedy recovery!

Jeannie...ENJOY YOUR CRUISE!! We wish you calm seas and cool temps in the parks!

I just got back from taking the boys to school...the last day for this year! I look forward to late nights out in the yard and sleeping in, but don't look forward to the fights, I'm bored or I don't wanna go outside, it's too hot! Here's hoping I find enough stuff to keep them busy!

Happy Monday Ya'll!

Welcome to Michelle and Michael.

Fiona hope that you get to feeling better soon.

Jeanne have a great cruise and enjoy the world.

Thanks for the trip report so far Kim. Take care of yourself and I have a small project that I am working on for you and Bette. Still haven't gotten those pictures printed for Bette yet.

Hope that everyone has a great day. Mike

Bette & Kim - Thanks for the trip reports so far, they are awesome!!! Can't wait to read the next one.

Michelle & Michael - Welcome to the group!! These guys are a great group to cruise with.

Fiona - I hope that you're feeling better today.

Well, I had my LASIK surgery on Friday and all went well. I can see great now, without glasses. I'm still in the recovery stage, with lots of eye drops & ointments, but after 2 weeks, all of that will be done.

Both girls are sick with some kind of stomach thing. Seems to only be lasting 24 hours, so hopefully they will be better soon. Maddie had it on Saturday and into Sunday. Emily woke up at 3am this morning with a tummy-ache, so hopefully she'll be better by tonight.

Herzlich willkommen, Michelle & Michael :wave2:

Enjoy your cruise, Jeanne, Sam & family  :cheer2:

Castmember said I Believe you. and went on his Way.. LOL :wizard:

Amy - glad that your Lasik went well. I'd love to have it but am a bit chicken about the whole eye thing and lasers.

Am feeling a bit better today. Only the second ear infection I've ever had and all I can say is boy do they hurt. I feel for every baby that's ever had one. Luckily though I did feel something. My secretary actually lost most of her hearing from an ear infection that didn't cause any pain at all so am somewhat thankful for the pain.

Work is going into the busy phase for the next 3 months. I might come up for air in September.

Back to work.

Fiona

Amy and Fiona get well soon. I am going to go to the doctor tomorrow for this sore throat. Hope that it is not strep.

Peter good to see you posting on this thread again. You are going to get the title of Head dining room overseer for the late seating :rotfl2: Don't expect to start passing out tip envelopes though.

Mike

Hope everyone ailing gets better soon!

Tracy

Welcome Michelle and Michael! :cool1: Love the picture Peter!

Michelle Crazzy... this is what I say to my kids when they say they are bored. " Great, I'm glad you have nothing to do, because I have LOTS to do, and now you can help. Got out the window cleaner and clean the back door, then bring in the laundry from the dryer. After you're done with that, come back to me and I will give you another task." It is absolutely Amazing at how fast the kids learn to not be "bored". LOL :earseek:
Fiona and Amy, Hope you are both feeling better soon.
Later,
Avé

Katie starts back to preschool tomorrow. She is in the young three year olds. They are the Firefly's. She goes three days a week.

I'll remember that! We were going to go to the FREE movie this morning at the new local theater...but they decided now that they don't want to go. It was Wizard of Oz. We did see it last year on the Big Screen, so now they don't want to. Today will be straightening up the house day then! We'll see how this goes! :rotfl:

Amy, I am glad to hear the surgery went well! Steve told me to make my appt and get it done too! I have heard more good then bad about it, so I am a bit nervous, but will do it!

Michelle and Michael...Stop lurking and come out to play!

Have a great day everyone!

Michelle - Definitely go for it. I'm so glad that I did. The first 24 hours are a little tough, but after that, it's amazing to be able to see without glasses or contacts.

Talking about being bored: We had a network-breakdown this morning :sad2: And there's only so much filing you can do. Fortunately I also had some meetings scheduled and around noon it was fixed. Nevertheless we had a lot of people idling around ;)

If Peter is really into playing the server I'm even more looking forward to staying at his house :rotfl2:

Eric you'll notice he played Head Server. What does the head server do anyway? :confused3 :rotfl:

Michelle, I second what Amy said. I had mine done in February, it's still a little weird at times, mostly when I do things that I don't do daily (hair washed at the stylist - I still try to take off my glasses :rotfl2: )

Definitely worth it though, and I swore I would never have this done.

Tracy

Hey Tracy - So, that feeling of taking your glasses off doesn't necessarily stop?? The second night after the surgery, I was going to bed and instinctively reached to take my glasses off. It was such a weird feeling.
