It's been a loooong time since I posted on here, so I thought I'd resurface.

I saw mention here of possibly doing MNSSHP as a group. We'll be at WDW prior to the cruise--staying off site at Nick Family Suites (5th-9th), then Embassy Suites LBV (9th-14th). Based on the tentative dates, we're planning to do MNSSHP on the 10th.

Also, I think my DH (Darren) would love to join you for some scuba diving. I'll respectfully decline. Anyway, I'm not very good at keeping up with this massive thread, but I would love to know the scuba details as we get closer to the cruise.

Hello everyone!

I have a quick (and hopefully easy) question for the past "Cruisetoberfest" cruisers... In the past, has this cruise been sold-out?? I only ask out of curiousity -- we were on a New Year's cruise and it was sold-out; however, we never found anything to be busy and never felt the ship was full.

Eric - do you know if there is a website with info on the "tree-top" thing in Costa Maya? This would be something that we would love to do, my brother and niece just did something similar in Costa Rica and it sounded like an amazing experience.

Enjoy the day and the rest of the Olympics. Just heard a good quote: "Todays dreamers are tomorrows Olympians".

according to the staff at check-in during last Cruisetoberfest our cruise was sold out, but it never felt crowded on the ship. With last year's hurricane season I would think that a lot of people are reluctant to cruise during that time and with new cruisers finding their way to us constantly there still seems to be room on the ship.

Talking about the shore excursions: We have threads for each shore excursion on our boards. Your account has been activated, so why don't you have a look? And if you find thr time, please also take the time to introduce your family on the Introduction Forum.

Talking about the Olympics:
We had a great day today - and so had Canada. This has been our best Winter Olympics ever!!! We're leading in the medal count and it looks like nobody can beat us for it It's so great for a small country like ours to win that big

as I said in my reply to Michele's question: we have threads for all shore excursions at our boards - check it out.
And we also have one for the week before the cruise at WDW. A mini-meet on 10/10 is already in the planning. Is there really MNSSHP on 10/10? That would be swell as this is my birthday.

Been snowing here all day. Winter is such fun, sigh. Good thing is that spring is near and this will melt soon.

Winter's back here, too. Had a light sprinkling of snow covering the car this morning, but the parking heater took care of that Has been snowing the whole morning and still is, but fortunately warmer air is already coming in and it starts to thaw. Should be fine when it's time to drive to the gym.
For next week temps in the 40ies are predicted.
The main problem will be what to wear on our way to the airport when we fly to Thailand

We have temps here in the 40's. It's supposed to get into the 50's by this weekend. Looks like it'd be a good weekend to get the camper out for an outing, but I'll be helping some friends do a brake job on their car.

We had -3°C/27°F this morning and half an inch of pure ice on all streets this morning. Fortunately everything was cleared by the City Department when I drove to work. Winter will stay for at least 4 more days. For us it was the coldest winter in 20 years.
