I love 'Stripes', just watched the 'Extended Special Edition', which is 14 minutes longer and was released on DVD last year.
I guess you're talking abou 'Lost in Translation'. Have that one at home, but haven't watched it yet. I got a backlog of about 200 movies ;)

Arlene: are you referring to "Lost in Translation?'' It wasn't really a comedy, but it's one of my favorites!

I was obviously so funny that you even couldn't read my post where I already mentioned 'Lost in Translation'

I love Stripes. Very funny and think that Bill Murray is funny.

Martin Short is also very funny. Jim & I saw him live and he was great! Couldn't stop laughing.

Got some snow overnight.

Was up late last night talking to my girlfriend in Yellowknife. We've been friends since grade 3 and managed to only talk for 3 hours last night!

Needless to say I'm tired this morning.

Yup, Martin Short is very funny. I especially love him as Frank (Fronk :lmao: ) in the remake of 'Father of the Bride'.

Fronk is hilarious although you do have to watch the movie a couple of times to get everything! :rotfl:

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to introduce ourselves as fellow cruisers on the October 14th Western. Our family (excluding dog) is comprised of Mark and Myself (Michele) and our daughter Nicole (age 10 at time of cruise). This is only our second cruise - we booked on board the New Years Eve Western 2004-2005. Needless to say, we were hooked on cruising and even more so on Disney!

In reading some of these thread pages, we are fortunate to be cruising with a great and fun bunch of people.

Enjoy your day, wherever you may be...

Michele

Welcome aboard, Michele, Mark & Nicole
Now we have the same number of Canucks, of Britons and of Germs in our group (4 each). Nevertheless your neighbors to the South still have a slight lead on us ;)

OOOPS: Edited to add:
No, you're the second strongest faction as I forgot to count you DD

Canucks rule, Germs drool. :rotfl:

Hi Michele,

Welcome aboard! Finally some additions to the Cdn contingent! Whereabouts in Ontario are you? We from the GTA. If you're somewhat close maybe we could get together before the cruise.

Fiona

Glad that the addition of three more Canadians is bringing up the ranks of "foreign" blood! I am pleasantly surprised how many CDN Cruisers that there are... I always thought we were the only ones. :cool1:

Fiona, we are indeed in the GTA, your way in fact. Currently we live in Brooklin (Whitby) and are moving to a new home being built in North Oshawa in September.

I really must look and see the ages of everyone children, in the hopes our daughter has someone her age.

Looking forward to October coming quickly.

Michele

Hey Michele -- Brooklin is really pretty. I actually work in Pickering -- finally someone who will know where that is!!!

Hello Michele and family. Glad you are joining us in October. This is my family's second cruise also and we can't wait. Although I have not met anyone on this board in person, they have more than made me feel welcome in joining them in chatting.
