Welcome jeninpa! I have a daughter that attends college in PA....is Lehigh anywhere near you? I also have 4 children, but as you can probably guess, they're fully grown and (almost) out of the house!
Is this your first cruise on any line or just Disney?

Busy around here. Just got home from voting. Polls don't close til 9:30pm and they are predicting a close election. Might not be able to stay awake til we know who won. Am hoping for a conservative minority government.

DS voted for the first time! He missed the last election by I think 12 days.

Just for interests sake -- the election campaign was 52 days -- one of the longest in Cdn history! Thankfully since it's winter there aren't actually that many signs out either -- ground is too hard!

I know. Yeah! Just hope that we don't have another election soon. It didn't take long for the tv pundits to predict it though -- the polls closed at 9:30pm and they predicted it at about 10 seconds past 10pm (our time) when the polls closed in BC. The conservatives didn't do as well as they had hoped and the liberals didn't do as badly although it looks like the PM is going to resign as leader of the party. Who they pick as a new leader could be really, really interesting.

There's some other postings elsewhere saying that it's the volume of visitors that the two servers can't keep up with... one of the postings said that there were 2,000 people on the boards at one time.

I live in central PA. Probably atleast 2hrs or so away from Lehigh.This will be my first cruise of any kind....and my first airplane ride,lol. I've never really wanted to travel anywhere but the kids had such a great time with their grandparents on their 10/04 cruise that I wanted to go with them on a cruise so I could be with them and see how much fun they have. We told them their last cruise would be a once-in-a-lifetime thing and now here we go 2 years later,lol. They are spoiled, but they are very good kids so they deserve it,lol.

Wow, not only a cruise virgin, but an airplane one as well! Just make sure you don't wear white underwear when you go through the security checkpoint at the airport. Seasoned fliers know that those x-rays go right through white clothing and all the security guards will get to see you buck-naked. Colored fibers absorb most of the rays so they can't see thorough them. Of course, Mickey Mouse black is always best!

Sorry, jeninpa, I'm just a little demented....you'll get used to me! Reminds me of my poor Mom (may she RIP).....she was a very trusting woman and I was always coming up with new ways to pull the wool over her head. But I guess it's pay back time because my kids have done a few numbers on me!
