HI EVERYBODY!

Beautiful Day here in FL. No AC, no heat, yipee! lower power bill!
no hurricanes or tonadoes either!

Trying to get into the "holiday mode", but not there yet.
The kids are working on thier "Christmas Lists". Anyone out there got a PS2 or xbox for sale?

Reading a new book, the main character in the story is named Avé. So wierd reading it! LOL

Hi Fiona...
I wouldn't worry too much about your nephew, we have at least one little one in our office every week who has managed to do the same thing. Sometimes its worse than others. Some kids end up missing teeth until they are 6 or 7!! Most times its fine, they just end up staying chipped. I have to agree about book 6... I am just dying to have it come out! I almost cried when I heard she was going to have another baby, thats going to take time away from writing! Hope everyone is having a great day!!!

Anja & I have a nice, long weekend ahead of us with three days off Unfortunately the weather is -uhm, ah- let's say 'adverse' Storm, rain, snow, and a predicted temperature-drop of about 10°C/18°F tonight. I guess we'll watch some nice movies, clean out our closet to get rid of some clothes, books, old computergames, etc, and of course work out a bit

And I have to finalize work on our vacation-pictures, on Monday I'm gonna scan the pics we bought a Shutters, and then I should be done with everything.

Wow, Thanksgiving is almost here!We will be going to Washington DC to see my oldest sister and her family. We are thinking of visiting the National Archives(the Declaration of Independance and the Bill of Rights are now on display), the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (where they make the $) and the US Capitol, and the WWII memorial.
DH and I talked about making a stop in N.C. on the way home so he can visit the NASCAR stuff in Mooresville N.C. This 2nd stop will depend on if he is able to finish a kitchen/bath remodel before 11/24.

Jen, I would not worry too much about her having to take care of the baby. When you have as much money as she has, I'd bet she has plenty of help! I am also looking forward to the next book!

Sorry Tiggerlvr91, I should have been more clear. I ment to say Ave, What book are you reading? Because of her comment about the main character being named Ave.

I LOVE the HP books and will e buying the newest DVD the day it goes on sale!DS made me get up early and get on line to buy the last book

Ave check with your congressman about getting tickets for the bureau of printing and engraving. Also any museum you go to will have a metal detector and xray machine for your handbag. The metro is the only way to get around. After 9:30 get the 5 dollar pass and ride all day for this one low price.

Under the 700 day mark, Wahoo.

Thanks Mike. I remember the metal detectors from last year. I just call the USBP&E and they said no tickets needed this time of year. The Washington Monument is still closed It's been closed since 9/11 so we still have not gone up it. Oh Well!

Yes. That is strange. I was on earlier today and my Subscribed thread listings indicated that you were the last poster on the Cruisetoberfest thread. However, when I opened the thread, Tigger91 was the last poster. I hit refresh and even went back to see if your post was earlier on the page and there was nothing from you.

Hello Everyone and especially you, Dan!

I have been sick for the last two weeks. Nasty upper respiratory thing. Feeling better but still not 100%.

But I did get a big boost today because this a.m. my new living room furniture arrived! I love it.

The old living room furniture had been moved into the freshly painted den where it fits perfectly.

The living room and dining room received new coats of paint too in preparation for the new furniture.

Very excited. Very happy.

Ha! This IS is weird. Mary is missing a post also. She talks about how she should have made clearer who she was asking about what book was being read and then asks who is having Turkey Day.

Hey, you guys.....

Tim and I have decided to reschedule our 2006 cruise to the November 18 sailing (still 2 stops at CC, but Grand Caymen will be a port instead of Costa Maya.)

Our only apprehension with booking the October cruise was our stop at Costa Maya. It was by far our least favorite port and I wasn't all that thrilled with doing the same itinerary as our hurricane cruise (minus the CC stops!) But cruising with all of you guys won me over! But after talking with Tim about this, we decided we ought to make sure we are fully happy with where we are going....also the Thanksgiving cruise is very appealing (especially the thought of not having deal with the family dramas that pop up with this holiday for some reason!)

So for a mere $1300 more, we are sailing on with an unknown group of Dis'ers.....which will be my biggest disappointment of all!!!! Unless anyone wants to begin a "Thanksgivingfest"....um, yeah, not the same as Cruisetoberfest, huh

So Eric, you may officially remove us from "The List" ....if you need an official email, I can do that

This is the second cruise we have back out on with you guys! You gotta take tons of pics on the repo cruise and get them posted! That is the one I regret cancelling the most!!!
