Count us in on this cruise as well. This is our second October cruise (booked on our 3-day cruise last year). We did a land/sea deal starting at DW last year and ending up on the cruise. Liked the cruise so much we decided to book the 7 day this year. Also, like CC so much we looked for the Double Dip version.

Anyway, you can add my family -- DH, DW, DD-12, DD-10 (by cruise) and DD-7 (by Cruise) and my sister's family -- DH, DW, DS-10, DS-8 and DS-2 and hopefully my mom (otherwise known as grandma). Like to hear about any DISers' get togethers on the boat.

Looking forward to another wonderful cruise and hearing from you guys.

Welcome Astallings. It's a great group to cruise with even though I don't know where everyone is these days!

Just popping in to say hi.

You have all been posting along without me even though we booked this cruise 2 years ago. Just can't seem to find the time to post.

Can't wait for this cruise. We are leaving on the 12th and staying somewhere in WDW and then the cruise then the F&W for a week after the cruise along with MNSSHP.

We have everything booked on the ship we want. We have late dining.

I am Denine. DH is Jerry. DD is Kaleigh and will be 4 at the end of September. THis will be the 1st time in the clubs for her and we are all excited. I am an RN, but only work a few hours a week to stay home with DD. DH is a computer programmer/analyst. He works from home on the days I work. This will be our 8th cruise with DCL, the last one being the 2 week Panama Canal cruise from LA to Fla. It will be our 10th cruise overall, DD's 3rd. DD has been to WDW 10 times and DL once. We have been 25 times and DL once. We are DVC members and have been since 1995.

That was a quick overview. Hope to see some of you on board. :wave2:

astallings ~ This is my first 7 day cruise also. The first one was 4 days cut short by hurricane. We didn't make it to CC so I would be interested in hearing why you liked it so much.

Denine ~ Welcome to you and your family also.

Hi Denine, Hope we actually get a chance to meet this time. :) Amazing with 14 days on ship there will still so many people I didn't get a chance to connect with.

So you have twice as many cruises (Crusietoberfest IV will be our fifth cruise) as we have, but I have also a tenth time: It's my tenth trip to the USA (DW's eight). We also have been to DL once, but in our case it was Paris ;) We're thinking about California for one of next year's vacations, but haven't decided yet.

Hope everyone is staying cool during these heat waves! Think of the Mickey Ice Cream Bars on board & maybe that will help!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is staying cool. The heat index here in the Cleveland area was 110 degrees (at least that is what they reported on the news tonight). We have a small 18 round pool in our backyard and it was 91 degrees and we don't have a heater for it! This weather is crazy!

Let's just hope that we have hot weather (not this hot) but real nice weather for the cruise!

Have a Terrific Tuesday everyone!!!

What's the official countdown anyone??? I believe it's 73 days, right?

Viking: Thanks for the offer to add the rest of our group to "the list", but I think I will decline. They all think I am some massive Disney nut as it is (which is pretty much true) and the last thing I need is to tell them that I have given their names to my internet Disney friends... the grief would be endless...

I helped some of our group try to make reservations at 75 days out yesterday, and, wow, there were no Palo meals available yesterday morning at all other than a few dinner times the very first night.

However, everyone got the excursions we wanted and spa times.

FYI, twelve of us are going on the Chaccohoben Ruins excursion through DCL at Costa Maya. Eleven of us are doing a snorkeling trip with Eagle Ray Divers in Cozumel (booked directly). My DD (8) and I will be parasailing on CC at 10:30 a.m. on Friday (10/20), and 8 of our group will be doing the 2:00 p.m. stingray adventure on CC on Sunday (10/15). To celebrate our anniversary, my DW and I are having our first massage and going to Palo for tea on Thursday (10/19).

Our group is in the main (early) seating for dinner, and our group manager has even confirmed our rotation as APL and that as a "group amenity" we will be having a cocktail party the first night of the cruise! Anyone ever part of a group that had such a party - is it actually just your group, or is it a party for yours and other groups on board? I am wondering if it is the same thing as the Castaway Club party that I have heard they do.

The River Elbe over here is 27.5°C/82°F and doesn't have a heater either ;) July '06 was 5°C/9°F warmer than an average July :sunny:

So I guess we'll see you at Eagle Ray's marina as we've also chartered one of their boats for us: We will be nine scuba-divers and six snorkelers.
