The weather here is really nice for the moment but it's supposed to get quite a bit cooler and rain all weekend.

Have to pack for the weekend! We are going to Indiana with the truck club. Leaving first thing tomorrow and coming home Sunday night.

Hi everyone......finally have a chance to see what you all have been up to this week.

We had the family Easter get together and I was very busy all week getting things back to normal. My DH and I had 7 people stay at our house for the weekend and 9 other family members joined us for dinner on Saturday evening and a egg hunt on Sunday afternoon. Lots of laughs and excellent weather. The only downside was my one year old and three year old nieces had a tummy virus starting Friday evening and puked off and on the entire weekend. Their Mom and Dad were taking them home on Saturday morning if they weren't better and then the Mom and Dad got the puke virus during the night and into Saturday afternoon. Made for an interesting stay, poor things.

The upside is I got my spring cleaning done, everything that came in contact with them is super disinfected now. Thankfully, only one of my grandkids got the virus and for only 8 hours.

My grandson was 1 of 2 fifth graders in his school selected to spend a day with a Penn State University athlete this past Wednesday. He was soooooo excited he was up at 5:45 am to get ready although the bus wasn't leaving until 7:00 am. By the way, it only took me 15 minutes to drive him to school to get the bus. He had a really good experience and was impressed with the college class they visited.

Well, we should be back to page 1 now, so good night all.

Diana--- Glad you had a nice Easter except for the sick family. Didn't anyone go trout fishing since it was the first day on Sat? How exciting for your grandson to get to go to PSU and spend the day with one of the student athlete. I imagine for a 5th grader it was a thrill.

Good morning!

It's been raining since last evening here, so the first LL game of the season has been cancelled.

Nancy ~ No fishing last weekend. My DH worked Saturday (7 day rotation schedule) and Sunday was just to hetic to even think about it!

Yes - we were at Carlisle on Thursday. I didn't like waking up at 5am, but we had excellent weather and the traffic wasn't bad either. DH purchased some new wheels for his Jeep at half the price listed in the catalog so he was pleased. Gotta keep them happy We were home by 5pm, so DH could take Bryce to karate class at 6:30pm.

Jeanne ~ Although I would love to come to NC and meet you, I'll pass on the cleaning for now! I've been to NC 5x. To the Charlotte area for vacation at the PTL Club when it was open, for a weekend to a John Deere tractor auction and to Myrtle Beach for a vacation.

Hi to all our Cruisetoberfest friends. It has been quite a while since I have been on the boards and posted. Unfortunately I am posting now to let you know that we will be canceling our Cruisetoberfest IV cruise. After having been on Cruisetoberfests I, II and III it is a really difficult thing to do. Unfortunately the daughter of a close friend who was a baby sitter to our children when they were young is getting married on the Saturday of the cruise. It is a wedding we just can't miss and although we considered asking her to move her wedding date......Nah that would not work.

We will miss cruising with all our Cruisetoberfest friends new and old and we do hope to be part of Cruisetoberfest V. Have a GREAT CRUISE because Cruisetoberfest CRUISERS are the BEST
