Great news, Kim! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Have a wonderful trip, Eric and Anja!

Jim -- Absolutely love your posts! Have you ever considered a career as a stand up comic? Hope you and Fiona have a super time at the World.

Just wanted to say Hi. I can't remember if I posted here or not to say we are on this cruise. We first had this cruise booked then changed it to the 11 night southern caribbean cruise, then changed it back, lol. :confused3
Anyway, its been a year since we booked this cruise! I finally put a countdown up woot woot! :cool1:

:teeth: DVCLady,
please send the following info to the address provided in my signature:
-DIS-name
-E-mail
-First names of all persons in your group
-Occupation of all adults
-Stateroom #
-Dining session
-Homestate/town
-Special occasion to be celebrated during cruise (if any)

As soon as I have your info I'll do an update of The List, mail the newest version to you and to everyone in the group and also send you 'The History of Cruisetoberfest' to give you some background info about your new friends.
It may take a bit longer this time as we will fly to Boston in four hours, but seeing that you're from Connecticut I could also deliver it personally ;)

Rest of the gang:
Thanks for all your good wishes. Just in case anybody wants to track our flight on the Internet: It's FI521 at 0200pm CET from FRA to KEF (Frankfurt to Reykjavik) and FI631 from KEF to BOS at 4:45pm (What the hell is Iceland's timezone :confused3 ), touchdown in Boston LOgan INTL is scheduled for 620pm EST.
In case you wonder about the stopover in Iceland: It saved us about $300 in airfares
Next update of The List will come from Boston, probably tomorrow night as Jenn & Pete have to attend a wedding and we volunteered to dog-sit as we fight our jet-lag anyway.

End of transmission, have to pack the Notebook now :wave2:

Eric and Anja: have a safe journey....see you soon.
Kim: great news about not needing surgery! Feel better soon.
Jim and Fiona: Have a wonderful trip.......don't eat too much! It's hard to avoid it when you get so much food for FREE!

One of us has finished packing, I think; the bag looks full, but the zippering isn't done up on it yet, but I'm pretty sure that the bag is finished.

I'm just about to start because I know exactly what I want to take now. This basically comprises anything leftover, or anything in a drawer, bin or box. I also have this really huge pile of 'stuff' to get in to my tiny, tiny bag, with instructions that there better be room for the 'one or two' Mickey beanies that may be purchased this trip.

We'll be leaving in about five hours and we'll drive to Buffalo and stay overnight just across the street from the airport for the free parking. :)

Hope everyone has a great time in NYC.

Jim.

::::sigh:::::: everyone is traveling and here I sit. I am ALWAYS on the go and traveling I really enjoy. I wish everyone a wonderful safe time, where ever the road and sky may take you! :earsgirl:

Welcome back DVC lady.

Safe travels to everyone.

Michele-- Did it get really cool in WV today? Morning temp here was 41. I'm not ready for that cool of weather yet.

Jim--- Get off the internet and get packing.

Thank heavens it is Friday.

Nancy

Nancy, Yes it did! Yesterday morning, it was 5 am, I was in the yard with Daisy and it started to rain and lightening. By 7, it had passed and cooled down A LOT. It was balmy at 5, at 7 I was looking for my sweat jacket. It was only 65 yesterday. This morning at 4am it was FREEZING outside! I pulled on a pair of sweats and then the hood on my jacket! Plus it was foggy, so the air was damp. It was 45 when I took the boys to school, and now it is 72. It's suppose to warm up into the 80s for the rest of the week. I LOVE these days though. Cool nights and warm, not hot, days. Plus the air is so clean and fresh. Not heavy like the summer heat days.

Where in PA are you located? Do you normally get a lot of snow? Last year the boys only had 2 snow days, and of those, if we had been in OH, they would have went! Only one was a good sledding day! We don't get much snow here.

Hi Folks,
the Germs have arrived safely in Boston :wave2:

Michele--- I am in Southcentral Pa below Harrisburg and near the MD line. We do get quite a bit of snow in our area which I hate. I always thought that the western part of PA had more snow then we do. However, my son goes to college out there below Pittsburgh and said they don't have nearly the amount of snow we get. He travels down to WVU at least once a month to see his best friend. It is less than a hour from his school.

Hi Rosemary!

Welcome back DVC lady! :cheer2:

Welcome to the USA Eric and Anja!!!! :cool1:
Wish I could be in NYC for the dis-meet. Hope you all have a great time.

Busy here with the new clinic. Lots of changes. Kind of stressful.
Brought DD for her drivers permit today. Today is her 15th birthday! Between forgotten birth certificate, computer crashes, and 1 failed test, what started at 10 AM ended at 4PM. But my DD now has a drivers permit!

Kim, Such great news from the doc. :cheer2: Now be a "good" patient and do what he tells you to do. You don't want to risk re-injuring yourself. :flower:

Sister Mary says Hi to everyone! :wave2: She is still working nights (11p-7a) So a lack of free computer time. But I am keeping her updated. :goodvibes

Night all,
Avé

:cold: It's cold outside. burrrrrrrrrr!

Thanks for the Welcome! It will be me, DH, DD (9 at the time of cruise), DS (5 at the time of cruise). My daughter is very social and would love to meet up with other dis kids to hang out at the lab! She also plays VMK if anyone elses kids play that.

I just watched the home video of my son's first DCL cruise. He was 7 months old on his first cruise. He can't wait to finally be able to go on the mickey slide, lol.

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well. I'll try to keep up with the posts if I can. Welcome to the US, Viking!

Welcome back to the USA Eric and Anja! We are at the Radisson at the Port. We just couldn't wait till next October, so were getting on The Wonder in the morning. As we passed the Disney terminal awile ago, there were 2 huge cranes set up, taking things off and on the Magic as she gets ready to sail for drydock in Norfolk. Can't wait to see what they do with her. And just as last year, we chased the hurricanes away just in time. Hope for a sunny Castaway Cay day. After the cruise, 3 nights at French Quarter. If anyone needs anything, let me know!
