Ok...I am going to play....DH did agree...but not sure what he agreed to...lol..and besides, I cannot make any plans so far out!!!!

What I do know for sure.......as of now....

*I/We want a VR at Disney...(its about us, I keep forgetting)

*Would prefer fall as do not want a repeat of a summer wedding at WDW

*Love my date, as its Columbus Day weekend, extra day off of school for the kids
*10/13 is my birthday....(or anniv of my 39th!)
*Lots of Jamborini's usually travel at this time of year for F & W
*Do not want Sunset Pointe location...again....thought of Auluni, the real Poly, but who is going to fly there to see Bob and I to say I Do...again...?! lol
*Would love something simple....sweet little ceremony with family and friends..
*Dinner at Jiko for closest friends...or something comparable...definately want AKL/AKV involved in some aspect!
*Swan/Dolphin an option....best friend will have more Starwood points by then

Did speak with a DFTW "person"....or as I called her...the CM at the Wedding Gate....you have to go through her before you get in...LOL..She was awesome and we had some laughs...and said Dec of this year they may release new info/intel....
By Jan of 2012 I can speak with someone and see what kind of options/plans are available, and if I like them!!!

If DFTW doesn't come up with anything of interest to you, you could always do a S/D ceremony and then have dinner at Jiko, Boma or Sanaa!! Great photo ops!! OOO!!! and a TTD at the pool area at Kidani would be amazing!!!

Ok I thought I had all the acronyms down here on the DIS after all these years, but there are some new ones over here on these boards
I figured out STD....lol...I grew up knowing that to mean something else....Save The Date is SO much nicer

Please enlighten me...TTD???

At this point, so far out, I am thinking I would love the second segment to be outdoors, or at least a room with a view!!! Alot of the first segment will depend on what DVC room I can book at 11 mths out....and do I dare try to change it to AKV...or lets throw in the possibility of a GF DVC by then....
My thoughts now.......(cant wait til its days away from VR and I return to read this! lol)
If we have a Grand Villa at SSR, AKV...or A TreeHouse Villa....I am thinking of planning my own VR and having it take place in the room, and organizing my own cake/champagne reception...then moving on to a private catered event....either in EPCOT or at one of the resorts!!!!

They were...she had alot of photos where my wedding location was years ago...many things have changed...never heard of TTD...now I better not have anything at AKV/AKL...my visuals of TTD there took me to the Savanna with the animals! LOL

It was warm the day we did that session, so the water in the lagoon and pool were refreshingly cool!!
I love the Treehouse Villa idea - it sounds really intimate and romantic!!

Yes, you caught us chatting about you I really did love your pics, we had some similiar with the hammock by the Poly...the walkway at Sunset Pointe..which was "my aisle"...I must admit your photographer was a wee bit more awesome

I do want intimate and romantic...we may have 10 guests..for the VR ceremony, and perhaps more for the catered event. With a THV, there is a large deck, outdoors, can be decorated etc....we can move to the lounge at SSR...
I want to make it different from my Escape wedding from years ago....same for all the VR Brides who want their VR's at Disney to be different than what perhaps they wedding was years ago!

So I am backwards....but should be interesting!!!

AND I just pulled out some of my things from DFTW in 03....I paid $2100 plus $500 for the extra guests!!! But we did the Poly Luau as a "reception"...there was 21 of us! It was a Tropical theme...even though we stayed at GF...
I used Peddles in Orlando for floral...awesome!
Loved Rev Jack Day!!!
Broadway Photographers...are they still in business??
And Disney Make up/Hair.....did NOT have a good experience with them....

AND I already have a Wedding Planning Team....they are out of Atlanta!!!

Just as Angie and Brad have their catchy name...so do we ...DiBob...feel free to refer to us as that in the future lol

I will attempt to give a Cliff Notes version of the highlights of how I came to be DisneyBride'03....and in 2013...DiBob X 2....

Once upon a time there lived a girl named Diana...she knew her Prince Charming existed...somewhere...but where? She had kissed a few frogs and marriage was not a friend to her.....In a far away land named San Diego...she met Bobby, as he was known then...
Could it be? Over the next 2 years their love grew as high and wide as the distance between them....Diana had children...Bobby did not...Bobby loved children and wanted a family...After a trip to Big Sur, Diana found a shiny ring on her left hand...A celebration was to be planned...but where...when...? There could only be one place....where the children and Diana...ok...and Bobby would love to celebrate...The Happiest Place on Earth....On June 28, 2003 they became a family....and had a familymoon...Three years from that special day, Princess Ava was born. It had been quite some time since they had visited the Happy Place, so a trip was planned...Diana knew once Bobby saw Ava in this Happy Place, how could he deprive his little princess of future visits??
Welcome Home...
After enjoying many visits to the Happy Place thanks to the magical club...time has passed.....Ava continues to ask why she is not included in the photos from that special day long ago....her mother, not wanting to deprive Ava of a special celebration at the Happy Place, realizes their is a time in the near future....there can be another celebration..a Renewal of sorts....Ava's older sister and brother are teenagers now, and await to bask in the joy...all over again....
