There'll be 5 of us myself, DH, DD15, DS13 and DD's friend also 15. Hopefully we'll have a bit of time to get a shower in and freshen up a bit before heading to the ship. We'll be the one's wearing the finisher medals
Can't wait!!! We're flying down on AirTran on the 11th. When are you guys heading down?

We are also leaving on AirTran on the 11th. We are on a connection through Atlanta. We leave at 10:56 a.m. and get into Orlando at 5:11 p.m.

We are leaving early Friday morning and driving straight to Port Canaveral. Saturday we are just going to hang out and explore.

Hi Laura,

We're actually on the nonstop leaving at 2:52pm and getting in at 6:52pm. So we'll be chasing you down We're staying at the All Star Sports the night before the race and then staying at the Boardwalk for a few days after and flying back on the 19th.

Hey Amy,

You are probably all jealous that we get a bonus stop in Atlanta on the way down, but we did get on the Air Tran non-stop on the way home on the 19th.

We're going to MNSSHP the day we gt off the ship and then a day in the parks on Friday and Typhoon Lagoon on Saturday. We're staying at Pop Century after the cruise.

Wow, great minds think alike! We are also going to MNSSHP on the 16th. During the day on the 16th we're going to EPCOT, 17th - AK, and 18th - DS. Our daughter's friend has never been to Disney so we wanted to be able to take her to all the parks. I think we'll need a vacation after the vacation

We'll try not to be jealous of your added vacation flight! See you in 2 weeks.

I have read all your posts and it makes me want to extend my vacation and go back to the world after the cruise too.... If only I was independently wealthy. I guess I will have to settle for the few days before the cruise!

We will be at mnsshp on the 16th as well. We are doing epcot during the day and jk for the party.Friday we are at MGM and downtown then drive home Saturday

Hello everyone! I haven't been on the boards in a while but since we will be on the ship in a couple of weeks I thought I would peek my head in and see what's is going on. My wife and I will be hopefully arriving in Port Canaveral on the 11th. If we get there early enough we are going to take the Cape Kennedy Space Center Tour. We will be staying the night before the cruise at the Residence Inn. After the cruise we will be heading to WDW for 7 days at the Beach Club Resort. This will be our first Disney cruise and we can't wait!

I luv Beach Club!!! We own there, BWV and AKV. It's been a year since we stayed there...I miss it so We have never stayed in a Boardwalk view at BWV so we are trying that for the first time this trip. We'll look for you across the bay

Rats,Rats & Double Rats....the shuttle launch for October 14 has been postponed until February of next year sorry folks if you were looking to see the launch. This makes two Disney trips in a row for us that the shuttle has had to be delayed.......maybe the third time will be the charm?

Darn, I was looking forward to the shuttle launch too. I have never seen a shuttle launch and would love to see one before they cancel the program. Well maybe next year!

Yeah, we love the Beach Club too. This will be our 3rd time there and we can't wait to swim in Stormalong Bay, eat at Beaches and Cream and walk over to Epcot for the F&WF. We'll send you a wave acoss the lake too!

My husband read that last night - but he thought it was the other shuttle. Since there was two, he figured we'd still see it. He will be seriously bummed.

hello everyone--my family and i will be cruising with you guys--this is the first time cruising for all of us--Me, husband and three boys ages 15, 11 and 5. We are staying at the residence inn on Saturday October 11th---what time can we start boarding on Sunday?? We are also going to MNSSHP--(I hope that's right) @ Magic Kingdom on Thursday night after the trip. Is anyone else going? We are very excited!!!!

Welcome laurabelle777--We are one of those going to MNSSHP on Thursday, October 16.

I think the port opens between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. I don't believe they start boarding until around 12. Is that right?

Have any of you heard about some of the other cruise itineraries being changed to Castaway Cay, Nassau, Castaway Cay? How do you feel about that? Part of me thinks it would be nice to be on the beach another day, but that is kind of what I missed about the 3 day. We never were really "sailing" except at night.

So far, ours has not changed, but some other October dates have. Just curious what others thought.
