Anja & I completed some more steps towards status 'Ready for travel':
-We had our second annual check at our dentist's plus Shine&Polish from our dental hygienist.
-We picked up $500 cash at our bank. No bills larger than a Twenty, they even had some $1-bills (Non-consecutive numbers, of course

)
-We bought the last gifts, which were left on our shopping list. I just hope the US Customs accept everything at the values we state

There's a allowance of $100 per person only, so we have to use some white lies
Now the only thing left is the Schnaps. We went for grocery shopping yesterday, but somehow forgot to by the Schnaps. You must know that buying liquor in Germany is as simple as buying ammo in the USA

You get it in every supermarket. I'll have to do it next Saturday.
On Friday we'll have our annual company outing. Although it is still a secret to most of our employees I already know what's up. I was the head of the volunteer coordination team for many years and still have my connection
We're doing a timetravel back into the dark medieval years!! We rented a castle about 20 miles south of Frankfurt and will feast and celebrate there. You won't believe me, but the castle's name is
Burg Frankenstein NO KIDDING!! This is the real thing, it was named Frankenstein in medieval times. Nowadays it used for company outings, horror parties, and Halloween is kind of high-season for them. I'll give you a report on Saturday. That is, if I'm able to - The beer is on our CEO

He already prepared himself for a stiff bill
