Hi All,

Just wanted to say hello again. I haven't really participated on this thread so I guess you can call me the "Cruisetoberfest Lurker"! I also sailed with some of you last year, but was only able to meet a few of you.

We are all getting very excited about our trip. We'll be at Ron Jon's the night before the cruise and are looking forward to seeing what the resort is like.

I see there is a group here that is going on the EcoTour in Antigua. We are also booked on this excursion and have heard only good things about it. It should be lots of fun!

Well...just wanted to pop in and say hello. I'm really not anti-social...just a bit shy and on the periphery!

M...I...C...See You Real Soon!

Michele Shy sure ...

Remember me I met u last year in line for Reservations to Palo

I Told u I was ImGoingtoDisney Lol

See u on Board and Maybe on the Eco tour we are thinking of getting in on this one... Pete and jen

Just sent in the info for the Eco tour waiting to hear back if the is Room we are Going ......

Peter

PM me your addresses and I'll be glad to send them to you. I printed out extras on the t-shirt transfer paper, but will also send you the mirror image to scan if you like.

With 2 hurricanes headed towards Florida there is a possibility that we might have another mystery cruise like we did in 2002 on the disearscruise. San Juan was nice. Mike

Peter and Jen...so glad you liked the stuff:bounce: I hope you get on the Eco-tour. I think we will have most of the boat filled with Cruisetoberfesters!:earseek:

Michelemouse...nice to see you posting. I got the e-mail/pic from your DS, but my DS has already gone to bed. I will show him it in the morning.

Ave, take care...and enjoy your hurricaine day off. The iron is that dusty metal thing shaped like a triangle:crazy:

He was so excited to send that picture! While we were at the exhibit he kept saying "I bet George would love this!". I think he is excited to have another friend who likes the LotR movies.

Will your kids be on the EcoTour with you? Katharine hasn't had much time this summer for emailing but she is definitely looking forward to meeting Regina.

Michelemouse: Would you like your kids to be on the kids cruz list? PM me if you want me to add them to the list.

Michelemouse, yes, the kids will be on the eco-tour.Your son is a real cutie! Both Regina and George are looking forward to meeting their new friends.

No need to worry, Mike: Those early storms right now are draining off all the energy from the sea, so that we will have a smooth sailing pirate:

HELP!!!! :confused3

I just realized that I have not made a singe plan for our after cruise activities. We will be staying all day Sat and Sun (flight leaves at 8 pm Sun). Having never traveled to WDW in Oct, not sure what activities are going on, what I should "not miss". Any help would be appreciated.

Any suggestions about "reasonable on-site properties or discount codes would also be appreciated.

Michele, I just noticed you will be going to HH. Will you do this before or after the cruise?

Another Mystery Cruise??!!!As long as we have smooth sailing and nice weather, it would be OK with me. We had a great time on the last Mystery cruise with 2 stops at Castaway Cay!

ciadriamom...I know WDW is having a Halloween thing and I think EPCOT is having a food and wine festival in Oct. We have stayed at Dixie Landing (I think the name has changed) several times and like it a lot.TwinAve has stayed at the All Star Resorts a few times and has enjoy the resort.

Check out the Swan and Dolphin. I've seen prices on the DIS for less than $150 per night. I love it there because we can walk to Epcot (for the wine and food!) and take the boat to MGM. We can walk through Epcot and take the monorail to MK. Yes the Wine and Food Festival will be going on (starts 10/1).

Of course I remember you Peter! But I didn't fall for your little ruse! How could you have possibly known that I had already met the real Imgoingtodisney!

I hope there's still room for you guys on the EcoTour. It sounds like such a great trip and will be so much more so with a boat full of DISers!

We'll be there for a week after the cruise. We'll drive up to HH on Saturday once we disembark and then head back to CT the following Saturday. Are you headed there too?

I would be okay with a Mystery Cruise too...although I'm really looking forward to the EcoTour. My philosophy is that if you choose to cruise during Hurricane Season you have to roll with the punches. As long as we're safe I'm good. [/B][/QUOTE]

Jill Just what is the Eco Tour ..

How do they know if u post from work...

Peter

Peter,

Did you guys get the info for it the Eco tour? It is at www.adventureantigua.com Tell them you are with Cruistoberfest, too!

I have NO IDEA of they know if we post from work. We got a long, long email from our Leiutenant who is the computer guru....he said view only, no exchange of info....so I figure I like my paychecks, I will comply! Not everyone has internet access...supervisors and sworn officers, so they keep a pretty tight hold on it, but I guess some people were downloading "weird" stuff.

So, we are on a trial period with a new puppy. 9 week old some sort of mutt, but sooooooooo cute! Orion, the big, clumsy 90 lb shepard (our dog faced boy!) is freaking out, but he's loving it! I just don't know if we are ready to deal with all the new puppy challenges. Plus our cat, Macy, is hardly happy with it! It is a puppy from a sweet, corgi mix that was found by a co-workers neices and nephews (when they were kidnapped by their dad...LOOOONG story), and one of the guys at work, who originally adopted him, had to give him up because his poodle was less than friendly. So, I said I'd take him for the night and see how it works. There is a long list of people behind me who will snatch him up....

Lastly, we go to see Chicago tonite in Denver. (We meaning my mom, sis and friend....Tim said "ummm, no.") And Mary Jo called! So I am hoping to meet with her on Sat, along with DenverVal, another cruiser from the Eastbound next year.

No Mystery Cruise for us or we want our money back - OOPS, nearly forgot that we're cruising for free :jester:
As a German I deeply despise when my plans don't work out

Yesterday I went to a local hiking outfitter and bought two packs of 10 stuffing bags each. We'll prepack everything in those small units for each of our six destinations (Crystal River, Charleston, St Augustine, PCB, Radisson, Cruise). This way we only have to unpack the small units for each destination and can leave the rest in our bags/suitcase.

Tomorrow we'll have our 11th wedding anniversary - a very special one as we deliberately married Friday 13th 1993 and tomorrow it is the second time that our anniversary falls onto a Friday. We'll have Paella and Spanish wines with some friends.

And in 3 hours we'll be under 30 days :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Eric,

Can you return those bags you bought ??? I have 2 dozen packing bags from small to x-large that you can have. You put your items in them and then just roll out the air and they are all protected. If you want the bags let me know and I can mail this this weekend.

Bye, Kim

Ciadriamom -- sent you 2 PM's. One is sort of a P.S.

Ave' -- Hope you are all right down there in Florida. On Good Morning America this morning the weather man, Tony Perkins, was standing on the beach at Panama Beach reporting on the storms. When the show first came on, everything looked calm. Then 1/2 hour later, the winds were blowing and he was getting hit with a lot of rain. Our prayers are with you that you will all be OK.
